We are pleased to launch the John McCain-Sarah Palin 2008 web site!
Sarah Palin is currently the Governor of Alaska and assumed office in 2006. She is also the first female governor of Alaska.
We are confident Sarah Palin will make an excellent Vice Presidential candidate with John McCain and we congratulate her on her impeccable record of public service!

Masterful campaign....perfect choice...base is excited...takes the wind out of Barack’s sails...and pisses Hillary off!!

From the linked website source code: I can't imagine an official campaign website using Google advertising where anyone can purchase adwords that would lead to uncontrolled content on the page. So this is not an official website - or it is an official website run by a moron. I wouldn't count on the moron part.

Matt Lauer is very concerned about Sarah Palin. He waved his hand condescendingly as he made the bulletin announcement. Bastards can’t conceal their contempt. The dummies have already taken the bait and called her inexperienced. This is so easy.
Very classy of MSNBC to go local and have these goons stand behind the reporterette with their Larouche style smear posters.

Not happy with the choice; almost makes me want to stay home on voting day. Smacks of more ‘bread and circus’ celebrity type stuff.
Also, not entirely sure an ex-beauty queen deserves the vp office.

It says a lot. She has a husband, doesn't she? I'm sure she can handle being VP and a mom too. Think of what that will mean to all those liberals who say that Mr. Mom's are so wonderful....excellent. Here it is folks...everything you all say you stand for, and now it's appearing on the RIGHT!!!! ha ha ha - great choice

I love it. Now, I have heard Palin’s name bandied about by some conservative radio talk show hosts but really didn’t know anything about her except that she had conservative creds. It is great that she is a woman (possibly attract a few disgruntled Hillary farbisseners (sourpusses in Yiddish) and it helps the age thing (Obama picks an older senator to offset his youth and inexperience—McCain picks a young woman to deflect criticism about his age). I am anxious to learn more about her.

Great to hear your input.
I had huge reservations about McCain being picked. But his campaign has been flawless. He has exploited every opening given by Obama, and I really like the what i hear about your Governor. Hope to hear more about her, and see her take office in January as VP.

She has more experience managing a government entity as the number 2 on the ticket than BO has as the number 1 on his ticket.

Palin is not a nod to feminazi pressure like Ferraro was. Her life is in complete contrast to that of feminazi dogma. Wife, full time mother and homemaker. Her resume is very attractive to millions of married women voters. Her only strike against is inexperience in foreign affairs but McCain doesn't need gravitas there. She's a very popular governor in Alaska. This helps McCain in swing states. Obama could have chosen Hillary but went with a Washington insider old white male. And the age contrast couldn't be more strongly apparent on the bottom half of the ticket, this time in reverse!

How the heck is he supposed to make a campaign issue out of Obamas inexperience when hes got a running mate with 2 years as governor of a sparsely populated state...Sarah's 2 years as governor plus her business experience trumps Obambi's heralded career as a legislator and socialist/activist in a heavily democrat region of the country. She's actually led - he's always followed. And, she's led to the right while he's followed the leadings of Marxism. No match.
Best of all, she's a genuine conservative!

Brilliant strategic move and she will pull in a lot of pumas but the important part is that she will make a great VP and can and probably will step in one day at the top. Glad to see it.
