Some here have posted that she was not a dynamic speaker and campaigner.

I think her results speak for themselves. Goodness; two principled, consistent, hardworking leaders on the R side of the ticket, what a contrast.

As someone from her town, can you comment on how she might do on the campaign trail (or shall I say, ‘trial’) and the debates?

Well, she was a good speaker in Alaska. I moved from there in 2003 and came to Idaho. I didn't know until earlier that she is from here too! From what I remember of Sarah Palin though, when she was elected mayor of Wasilla she went in and fired a few people? and the town turned around for the better quickly. We had more jobs, better roads and that's saying something in Alaska. She's a very friendly person, happy to stop and chat with anyone. I met her in a grocery store, she was behind me in line and we chatted for just a second, because I told my then four yr old son, “look, she's the mayor”, and we chatted for just a sec about homeschooling kids and how that was a great option. She's very well spoken, but I'm now Palin expert.
