Romney has said that he is a convert to pro-life. I’m willing to go with that because:
1. The VP really has no power.
2. I’m willing to give Romney the time to grow into his new pro-life beliefs and demonstrate they are real.
3. If he backslides, then he will fail in the next primary campaign to win.

What is politically practical for a Gov. in Taxachusetts would never work in the entire U.S.A. Romney is financially savvy to know about economies of scale, and pragmatic enough to ditch S.M. That said, IMHO Portman would be a better choice to unify the GOP.
