No biggie.

Granny comes on here whenever Mitt’s name come up.

It’s her obsession.

After posting she goes back to listening to her Victrola.

This is how we now treat converts now. Like leprosy. Great way to win new converts to the pro-life cause.

Anyway. I am going to bed now. It’s getting late for me. Night.

I know. We discussed that issue a while back.

Coburn would be a fine choice for McCain.

Since when? 2005, 2006, 2007?

Funny, I thought changing the minds of pro-abortionists was the goal of the pro-life movement. You'd prefer Romney be like Giuliani and not had a change of heart? Even the pro-abortion Romney still supported restrictions and no taxpayer funding of abortion.

And where will Romney be on abortion, 5-10 years down the road?

Down the road Romney's abortion stand would still be much better than Obama's pro-actual-baby-killing.

I don't like Romney as much as you do. But he's the bare minimum I'd accept for VP on the liberal-conservative scale.

FReepers have been exposing his shortcomings... That's just rich...and kind of pathetic.

Even now when you talk to the average GOP there’s no energy for Romney. Why? Different reasons, mostly difficult to articulate— like that you just don’t know what to make of him. He really didn’t start to

(hi, I’m back, I just went to check on the deli roll I’m baking, anyway)

define himself until the day he dropped out of the race. He wasn’t good in the debates, remember? He didn’t connect with the other candidates or the audience. He may be a nice guy and he is a successful guy, but he hasn’t mastered appearing genuine in public.

So you’re saying when Reagan ran for reelection he still was 69? Oh, ok...

Like you said get a clue.

You said if Romney was a liberal he would have raised taxes. I say if he was a conservative he would not have said: “We do have tough gun laws in Massachusetts; I support them,” he said during a gubernatorial debate with Democratic candidate Shannon O’Brien. “I won’t chip away at them; I believe they protect us and provide for our safety.”

I plan not to read your posts anymore, bedtime for me.

Geez, it just seems like you want Obama to win in November. You've presented no viable alternative with all of your bluster. This country cannot afford an Obama presidency. I'm not a RINO in any calculation, but you seem to want defeat so I question your motives on this forum. Slam me all you want. I'm going to bed. Many posters on this thread seem to be onto your “holier than thou” meme. I will leave you with this. How would an Obama presidency contribute to the good of this nation?

Good night, and God bless.

Not my choice but can live with Romney. McCain probably wont announce until after the RAT convention. The other names thrown out there could surely be McCains choice ...just too many rumors out there now. Huckster is clearly out of the running but as to the others ...who knows!?!

There seems to be at least some energy around here for Romney. Few are motivated to trudge onto these miserable fratricidal threads but it doens’t mean they aren’t there and excited.

Let’s face it you aren’t a Romney fan. That’s FINE. It really is. But let’s not say it’s about “energy”. Becuase the energy will be there.

In a vacuum you can say things like you want and get elected in MA. In the real world it’s still just a fairy tale. You have to tread a rope.

Your book of mormon was written by a conman...

The false prophet Joseph Smith “foreodained” that he would be POTUS in 1844...

He got himself killed shooting his way out of jail just weeks later...

Some “prophet”...

Ooooooooooooooo

It NEVER happened...

Got no guts to say where your “stories” came from, right ????

There they are...

The Great Swarmie Joseph Smith was wrongo...

Romney doesnt have a “foreordained” “right” to the POTUS....

Not by fairies, goblins, swamies, or the false prophet Joseph Smith, or Brigham Young or any of the other false mormon “prophets/presidents”, or his own father george Romney...

Take two Asprin and call 1(800) VOTE-OBAMA in the morning...

You’ll feel much better...

Meanwhile we conservative Republicans have an election to win...

McCain and a REAL pro-life, consertvative VP pick...

Thank me...

My pleasure...

:)

Deli roll? I wish I could have some. Deli. Speaking of which where I live we have the worlds’ greatest Jewish corned beef. :-)

Funny. I thought Romney had an epiphany and became a pro-life conservative overnight, on his own! Come on. This has nothing to do with anyone changing Romney's mind. This has to do with his egotistical political ambitions and nothing else.

>>>>>>I don't like Romney as much as you do.

I don't like Romney at all.

That?s been my position since the day Mitt dropped out after being screwed by the freakish Huckster.

That little caucus deal that Mitt won and Huck threw to McCain. Can't remember which little state that was. Huck thought that would buy him the VP for sure. At least I know he won't be VP because McCain saw what a jealous, vindictive person Huck is. He is still berating Mitt on Fox every week. Anyway, no money for them. If Mitt is it, he gets my money.
