You said if Romney was a liberal he would have raised taxes. I say if he was a conservative he would not have said: “We do have tough gun laws in Massachusetts; I support them,” he said during a gubernatorial debate with Democratic candidate Shannon O’Brien. “I won’t chip away at them; I believe they protect us and provide for our safety.”
In a vacuum you can say things like you want and get elected in MA. In the real world it’s still just a fairy tale. You have to tread a rope.
