I was trying to make a case for why those who didn’t like Romney shouldn’t necessarily not vote for McCain. But we both like Romney so I feel silly.

My memory is fine. When the FR polls meant something, Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter were garnering the vast majority of support.

Romney was down there with Giuliani and Mccain.

Rudy McRomney. How soon you liberals forget.

Romney will be VP.

Some even believe it to be foreordained.

Just relax and let it happen.

Drudge is really out of the loop for the GOP this cycle. He has totally given it up for Obama.

If any politician cannot stand up for the unborn, and thinks it is OK for them to be aborted, well that is it for me.

It is a matter of life and death. It isn't an issue that can be negotiated. It is life and death. What else is there?

Why did he veto overspending? I remember the quote, “They overrode my vetos all of them in fact to a chorus of acclaim, but someone had to say no more.”

How is that not the stance of a conservative?

“Stop your whining and get over it.”

Seems to be quite evident that you are the one doing the whining. Seems you have been crying for months now.

So I guess in your humble opinion the likes of Rush, Sean, Mark, Karl Rove and others are not conservative. Me thinks you are to far over the edge.

McCain is not the oldest, Reagan and Dole were both older.

My bad. I should have said that if elected, McCain would be the oldest man in history to assume the office of the Presidency.

The VP will not determine the outcome of the abortion issue. The only way that will change is if a case will come before the SCOTUS and the Rowe V Wade decision would be overturned

And the only way THAT will happen is if we have a Republican president when a couple of the old libs on the SCOTUS go to their final reward, and the only way THAT will happen is if we quit threatening to sit on our hands and get out and VOTE for the Republican.

Romney is a business man.

Perfect to help McCain on the economy.

He’s got econ cred.

There is no way to avoid this. It will happen.

“Rudy McRomney”

A “name” I haven’t heard in months. I suppose it was only a matter of time before those most committed to defeating Obama without a candidate would bring that tired phrase to life again. Sigh.

Are we really “dead wrong”? Mitt came seemingly out of nowhere, the supposed R governor of a very liberal state, to run for president, having conveniently switched fro pro-choice to pro-life, pro big government programs, like mandatory health insurance, and on and on and on.

You’re wrong about changing peoples minds. Mitt could change my mind by taking the next 4, or maybe 8, years to prove himself as a conservative, then running again.

Can you, and other Romney rooters here, just quit throwing out the B word so easily? While I don’t deny that there is some anti-Mormon sentiment, it seems like it’s such an easy answer for some to throw it out and dismiss those with concerns that go beyond what religion a candidate practices.

He just started a PAC to raise money for GOP candidates.

Ahh... like the one Huck started less than a month after dropping out.

Didn't take you long to get back to your lowest common denominator. This is where all your arguments wind up. Might as well be talking to a dimocRAT.
