McCain is not the oldest, Reagan and Dole were both older.

My bad. I should have said that if elected, McCain would be the oldest man in history to assume the office of the Presidency.

Reagan was still the oldest. In January 1985 he was nearly 74, almost 2 years older than McCain now.
