I had several conversations with these offices yesterday. They NEED to hear from us.
WE WANT THE BOEHNER BILL!
1) The House (Republican and Dem) has heard the people and know that this is the bill we want.
2) The Senate (this may be a surprise to some) actually represents the EXACT same people the House does! (amazing isn't it)
3) PREGO! yes, PREGO! It's in there! Boehner's Bill includes renewables, solar, wind, nuclear, AND drilling.
4) We don't want "something done" for the sake of "getting something done." WE WANT A SOLUTION!
5) If ANYTHING needs to added to the Boehner bill it is this, we need to allow drilling without interference of baseless lawsuits from anti-progress, anti-independence yahoos.
6) If BOEHNER'S BILL is not able to pass the Senate- then let the PEOPLE see that the Republicans offered solutions, and the Dems BAWKED!
7) If nothing gets passed-- well, the sunset on the congressional moretoreum will expire and then.......
LET THE DRILLING BEGIN!!!!!!!!!

Republicans have been handed a gift.
If we make the HUGE mistake of opposing for one moment, (any) other source of energy — that gift will be gone.
America doesn’t simply need more oil.
America needs more ENERGY. From whatever source.
The answer is MORE ENERGY. If it comes from wind that’s great - because terrorists can’t charge us billions of dollars for wind.
If it comes from deep-fried snail darters, that’s fine.
The issue is energy. In all forms.
That’s what needs to be the constant focus.
Let’s not step into the very shoes, which liberals portray Republicans to be: shills for oil.
Sure we need to drill. This is something people understand. But we need to do it all.
We need energy independence, is what we need.

Impeachment is only for high officials like the President, Vice President, Justices or Judges.
The Speaker of the House can be removed for unethical conduct by the members of the House, and the House Ethics Committee can review her conduct and recommend punishment, up to and including expulsion from the House.
IMHO - Nancy Pelosi should be removed as Speaker immediately, and should be expelled from the House for extremely unethical conduct, conduct that is in violation of her oath to uphold the Constitution.
Then - she could be investigated by a Federal prosecutor for abuse of her power to hold up legislation that would hurt her finanical investments while pushing for legislation that would benefit her finances. Maybe a 10 - 20 year sentence in a Federal prison would be appropriate!
61% say Congress Should Vote on Offshore Drilling Right Now
"Six out of 10 Americans (61%) say Congress should return to Washington immediately to vote on lifting the ban on offshore oil drilling, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. But voters overwhelmingly expect Congress to adjourn this year without taking action.
Even more (67%) recognize that Republicans are the ones pushing for offshore drilling, and 77% say the issue is important to them in terms of how they will vote for Congress this November. Forty-five percent (45%) of voters say it is Very Important. Voters see a clear difference between the political parties on this issue as 61% perceive that congressional Democrats oppose offshore drilling.
While their leaders in Congress oppose a vote on drilling, half of Democratic voters(48%) think the Democratic-led Congress should return right away to deal with it. Just 40% of Nancy Pelosi's party disagree. Seventy eight percent (78%) of Republicans and unaffiliated voters, by a two-to-one margin, believe Congress should return to vote immediately..."
Gas went up 12 cents a gallon here yesterday.
