Shortly before noon Wednesday, a possible shooting was reported at the State Democratic Party Headquarters in Little Rock. Dozens of police cars are on the scene at 1300 West Capitol, and at least one ambulance was seen leaving as KARK 4 crews arrived. MEMS ambulance officials confirm one person was transported to the hospital from the scene.
Shortly after noon, police were reported to be in pursuit of a suspect in the incident on a Little Rock interstate.

None at this time, the gunman was quoted as being upset about losing his job. Besides, what difference does it make, wether he worked for Gwatney or not?

“Gwatney has died according to KABC radio.”....
Dear Lord, if this is true, please, give some kind of comfort to his family and friends.
Democrat or not, the murder of ANY human being is a tragedy, something that should pain all of us...... regardless of whether there is a ‘D’ or and ‘R’ after his name. People knew and loved this man. Such a senseless tragedy.

Well, it got pulled..so I guess others are in agreement with you. I find no need for sarcastic comments about attempted murder either....

The comment was in poor taste and is the type of comment that one would expect to find over at du, not here in this forum.

With the perp dead, and the victim dead, I wonder if we’ll know the entire story.

It doesn't make that much difference. You did say though that it appears that the shooter worked for Gwatney and was upset about losing his job. It's just too early though to be reaching any conclusions as to motive in this case. He may have worked for Gwatney and been upset over losing his job. Maybe the two knew each other and there were words between them when he was fired. Maybe the guy worked for someone else and lost his job to a Mexican and blamed Democrats for it. Who knows at this point?

Prayers continuing here as well, whether dead or still alive. Have been praying since I first heard this terrible news. You knew/know him, and like and respect the man. That’s enough..... Praying....

Okay. I believe you. I just thought it was a leap to go from there and surmise that the shooter worked for Gwatney. He may have, or maybe he didn't. Maybe he was just a nut. Who knows at this point?

Well I was going on a comment that got pulled for what ever reason that the gunman had told someone nearby Gwatneys office that he had been fired from his job.
I am sorry if my speculating offended you. I will strive to be more accurate in the future.
