Once the Sudetenland is back to its rightful owner, everything will be ok.

I hope the Georgian military has anti-ship missiles in their inventory.

I mean, considering that even North Korea has a supply, you’d think places like Georgia - that aren’t hellholes on earth, would have a stockpile.

Either that, or their version of SEALs, capable of heading over to the Russian ships with a limpet mine strapped on their back.

War with Russia is the last thing we need but something must be done.

This has to be the fastest “surpise” mobilization and deployment of any military I’ve ever seen. You don’t think Putin had everything gassed up & ready to go, and it all to start on a certain day like say the start of the olympics so the world and its press would be concentrating on something else, did yahh?
Nahh, its all a big coincidence. Russia is peace loving country who always respects its neighbors sovereignty.

Has there been a military ship sinking since the Faulklands?
Oh that’s right, the russians sunk one of their own subs. With one of their own torpedos. Great job there russians.
Love to see the Moskva or one of the other russian ships on the bottom of the sea.

The Finns showed the world how to take on the Russians in the Winter War of 1939.

“For 105 days the world held its breath and learned the word sisu, while Russians died at the incredible rate of nearly 10,000 per day....”

“The Russians attacked in company, battalion and regimental strength across frozen lakes, their dark uniforms easily visible against the white snow. Machine guns enfiladed the lakes and home guard troops, most of whom were expert shots, armed with one of the best military rifles ever made, the Sako Arms version of the Russian rifle, picked them off one by one”

“...With hardly any anti-tank weapons, four-man Molotov cocktail crews destroyed nearly 2000 tanks....”

Its all about oil and the new pipeline. Control of oil and gas in the region is the goal of Russia.

I don't think that is a current picture of her. She was painted in a darker green when I saw her at Sevastopol last year.

If she is out there, I do not know how capable she is; the Russians have not spent a lot of money on the Black Sea Fleet in recent years.

It may all be for show.

The Russians are using the Black Sea port of Novorossiisk. This is Russian territory.

I wonder how we plan to get the crack 2,000 Georgian troops now in Iraq back to Georgia as their government has pleaded? I suspect the Russians will do everything they can to prevent it.

This could conceivably put us into a direct military confrontation with the Russians if we do it using our military transports.
