What you're forgetting is that there are no consequences when dims break the law.
According to the delegate counts I've seen, only 89 "Obama" (of over 2100) delegates need to defect to deny him the number needed for the nomination on the first ballot. If that happened and the Edwards delegates went for Her Thighness, she would be able to win the nomination on the first ballot. If the Edwards delegates did not go with her, then it would be thrown to a second ballot.
Not that I think it will happen, but I do suspect Hill is working on it.
Love it.
Oddly enough, if McCain had been born to Panamanian military stationed in the United States, he probably would not be a citizen. That's because the 14th Amendment requires the kid to be subject to the jurisdiction of the United States in addition to being born on US soil. That excludes children born to foreigners here on official business of their government, such as diplomats or members of foreign military stationed here.
The greatest thing that would result from Her Thighness succeeding behind the scenes would be the smashing of the MSM’s goal of picking the candidate and thinking it could pick the candidates for the country.
I’ll gladly take the humbling of the Fifth Column as a good thing, even if it is accomplished by the Clintoons at Denver (as well as Hussein odumba’s ineptness).
A Canal Zone Government was established on May 17, 1904, by General George W. Davis, member of the Isthmian Canal Commission, acting in accordance with executive orders of President Theodore Roosevelt.
This government provided for a governor, executive secretary, treasurer and auditor; a judicial department consisting of a supreme court, three circuit courts, five municipal courts; a postal service and a bureau of education with a school system. At the same time a penal code was enacted, as well as a code of criminal procedure and laws supressing lotteries and prohibiting gambling.
Under the arrangement General Davis became the first governor of the Canal Zone. He resigned in 1905 and was succeeded by Governor Charles E. Magoon and Governor Richard Reid Rogers who served about a year apiece.
In 1907, a member of the Isthmian Canal Commission was chosen to serve as governor. His duties were those of the head of the department of civil administration and he was subordinate to the Chairman of the Isthmian Canal Commission.
Three members of the Commission served in this capacity. They were Joseph C.M.S. Blackburn, Maurice H. Thatcher, for whom Thatcher highway is named, and Richard L. Metcalfe. See the "Panama Canal Review" cMay, 1954.
In the early part of 1914 the Commission was abolished and a civil form of government set up. The governor was appointed by the President of the United States. The first civil governor chosen was, logically, George W. Goethals. Because there was a government instituted by the United States in this zone and appointed by a sitting U.S. President it was fully U.S. TERRITORY.
Jimmy Carter rescinded this and gave up U.S. Control and its territorial government on September 7, 1977.
Much of our government is the government the media wants us to have, but their influence is waning more and more, and there's a chance we can finally end their poisonous influence over America by thoroughly defeating Obama.
If Obama wins though, I think the media is going to get a breath of life at renewing their old monopoly. Obama will reward their undying faithfulness by subverting access to alternative media, the medium through which most of the truth of Obama has come from in this election. Obama is not fond of criticism, and has very thin skin. I look for him to stomp on a lot of rights if he gets elected, starting with the sources of honest criticism towards King Obama.
That's probably the case everywhere in the world- diplomats and other foreign government staff stationed in a country are a separate case.
We know a married couple here in DC- the husband is a member of the French foreign service and works at the embassy, and she is an American (they met at Georgetown). They recently had a kid- I wonder what his status is? I imagine he was a citizen of both countries at birth, regardless of his dad's status as a diplomat.
It’s now being officially brought to the attorney general of Hawaii:
