Just spoke to her staff..she is still there on the house floor:)
I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."
I just called my rep’s (R) number and the guy that answered the phone said he had no idea anyone was coming back. Said he would pass it on. Oh well.
WOOOO HOOOO!!!
LOVE IT:)
POSTING THE LINK AGAIN TO MAKE IT EASY FOR THOSE JUST JOINING THE THREAD!!
Find your congresscritter (R or D) and give them a call!!
and don’t forget to give Pelosi an ear full too:
LOL wow.... this is turning into a big fight haha
Rep. Thaddeus McCotter from Livonia is in this group.
Want to ping the MI people?
Do we have anyone Freeper in Washington DC who can get down with a video cam and make an internet report about the HOUSE REPUBLICANS RAISING CAIN???
The first one down there will have their report distributed all over the net.
We will need some volunteer writers too,
We need pictures and can not rely on the MSM to provide the real news anymore.
Perhaps it is time to sign up Freeper Reportors.
Rush just mentioned the House happenings.
That's exactly what it just showed again...but it's gone now. Keeps popping up on the Handguns on College Campuses coverage.
You’re on!!
Cindy :)
Perhaps it might be time for freepers that can get there on short notice to start a rally in front of the Capitol on the Mall?
Exactly. It’s theater. Somebody did post upthread there may be a problem reconciling the Senate and House’s recess schedule, since the Senate’s been technically staying “in session” to block any Bush recess appointments; Dingy Harry doesn’t WANT the Senate to recess to avoid that. So we’ll see.
The problem is, it’s theater being shown to an audience (the media) that doesn’t want to watch it, and doesn’t want anyone else to watch it either.

Actually
Even Nancy Puhlousey
is just a bit actress on a stage . . . an evil mouthy traitorous one but still . . . a bit player . . .
her bosses are also the owners/bosses of the MSM.
But creating a big scene can cause them a bit of a pause and delay their evil plans slightly.
WELL WORTH DOING.
See my tagline link.
I just called (202)225-0197 from down here in Chile. Asked him to keep up the pressure. He asked what I was doing down here...told him I was trying to find my deck under a load of new snow and then go skiing...He laughed!
Update 4 - The scene on the floor is kind of crazy. Normally, members are not allowed to speak directly to the visitor galleries, or visitors are prohibited from cheering. But in this case, the members are walking up and down on the floor during their speeches, standing on cheers, the visitors are cheering loudly. Some members even brought in visitors, who are now sitting on the House floor in the seats normally filled by lawmakers, cheering and clapping. Very funny. Democrats faced a choice here - should they leave the cameras on and let Republicans rip Pelosi & Co. on C-Span, or should they leave the cameras off and let the Republicans have their "tantrum," as one Democratic aide characterized it, with the cameras off. So the cameras are off, but Republicans, and the crowd, are clearly enjoying the scene. Uodate 5 - Republicans are literally hugging each other on the House floor. Rep. Don Manzullo (R-Ill.), not normally known as an distinguished orator, just gave a rousing speech, accusing Democrats of stifling dissent. He referenced President John Quincy Adams, who returned as a House member after being defeated in his bid for re-election as president. Waving his arms and yelling, Manzullo brought the crowd (including a lot of staff shipped in by GOP leaders to fill up the place), and he left the floor to hugs from his colleagues. You don't see that up here every day. Update 6 - Rep Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) just pretended to be a Democrat. He stood on the other side of the chaber and listed all of the GOP bills that the Dems killed. He then said "I am a Democrat and here is my energy plan" and he held up a picture of an old VW Bug with a sail attached to it. He paraded around he house floor with the sign while the crowd cheered.
Rush calls Nancy Pelosi
Manuel Norega in drag!
Rush says we may have killed Ayman Al zawahiri yesterday?!?!?!!?
word from the Limbaugh thread that Kristinn (out of town himself) is looking for DC Chapter members to answer the alarm!!!
They should make a TV commercial using that graphic as a base.
