An earthquake is now rocking the Southern California area. (I'm near Dodger Stadium)
As I post this, the USGS has not yet determined the epicenter so click on the link above for the exact location and magnitude from the USGS.
Here are the maps for California and Los Angeles:

Here's the historical review of the last seven days:
Global Warming and George Bush Global Warming are obstructing her good works, donchknow!!!!!
LOL. They don't bother me much. This one shook enough that I found a doorway to stand in. I haven't done that in years.
Our doberman was not amused...
Ahhhh... poor puppy!
Where’s the brave former channel 4 anchorman Kent Aftershockneck when you need him?
(10/7/87 LA quake!)
One of our techs was on the phone with an Agent in San Diego when it hit. They felt it pretty strong down there.
If California gets hit by an 8.9 it will cease to exist as we know it.
Hah, put my father in law on a plane from Honolulu to LAX a couple hours ago. He lives just east of the epicenter. He’ll be glad he missed that one, but his wife will be pissed he was not around to comfort her!
LOL...fingers were still shaking, I guess.
Hugh earthquake. Very series.
wonder what it felt like in 1964 in anchorage? what a ride.
and what a mess .. all the way down the west coast too..
Glad you’re okay, bd

Oh, man! Clean up alert!
Coffee on the keyboard, LOL.
Northridge ‘94 (6.9) survivor here. You all in LA stay safe!
Well, we don’t sweat it man. And where did you get that pic of me and the misses?
He has it up now. As usual, the freepers beat him to it.

Rumbles. I remember hearing the 1971 earthquake before it hit as well. That one had a roaring sound. This one I heard when I was in the kitchen. Grab the counter and stood there, then the shaking hit. It was mixed not too jerky, with some rolling. The jerky ones are the most scary because they are hard, fast, and hit in different directions.
LOL Yes hurry and get your gift card.
Quakes were "interesting". It was the aftershocks which could drive me batty; especially if they were clustered. Praying it was a release of seismic tension.
Well you left out Big Oil, Drugs and Food!
