Barack Obama may be on a world tour surrounded by a fawning media, but Sunday an expert in electronic document forensics released a detailed report on the purported birth certificate -- actually a "Certification of Live Birth" or COLB -- claimed as genuine by his campaign. The expert concludes with 100% certainty that it is a crudely forged fake: "a horribly forgery," according to the analysis published on the popular right-wing Atlas Shrugs blog.
The purported Certification of Live Birth published by the Daily Kos left wing blog and claimed as genuine by the Obama campaign features a security border that differs dramatically from security borders on COLB documents before and after the one supposedly printed out for Obama in 2007.
The purported birth certificate was published by the left wing Daily Kos blog on June 12 in response to unconfirmed reports that Obama was not in fact born in the United States (Canada and Kenya were suggested as the possible locations of his actual birth). Since he would in that case not be a natural born US citizen (his mother was not present in the US sufficiently long as an adult to pass American citizenship on to him automatically), he would not be eligible to be president.

The latest examinaton of the purported documents is by far the most detailed and technically sophisticated to date.
Atlas Shrugs publisher Pamela Geller reports that the expert analyst, who goes by the screen name "Techdude", is "an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American College of Forensic Examiners, The International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, International Information Systems Forensics Association -- the list goes on.

From that site, it seems that the poster Lori is the person who called the newspaper and hospital to get them to confirm the practices in place in 1961. Her post begins at July 22 at 9:36PM. She goes on in later posts to explain it in more detail.

I personally don’t believe they were born in HI either. But, just ‘if’ they were born in HI, Stanley Ann would either have had to use a fake ID or have had the written permission of both of her parents to get married.
There’s no way that the media will pick this up. There could be documented proof and they would ignore it. On the other hand, if there’s even the most absurd rumor about McCain, the media will give it 24/7 coverage.
Sometimes hot potatoes work better with pressure from foreign media sources.

This non sequitur has been repeatred so often that it's lost its original meaning. The discovery of the fraud took place after Hillary withdrew, and that is the only reason why she's not using it.

If born abroad, certain technical issues come into play. Since his father was NOT a US citizen, the status of his mother comes into play and since only one parent was a US citizen, that parent must have resided in the US as an adult for 5 years PRIOR to the birth of the child for the citizenship to automatically be granted.
Personally, I'm of the opinion that someone should file in federal court a petition to prevent their state from listing Obama as his citizenship is in question. The court can then appoint a special master to review Obama’s records and report to the court on a check list for citizenship. This would once and for all decide the issue and move us past this point.
Anybody who underestimates the effectiveness of the Clinton Crime Syndicate in manipulating public opinion hasn't read recent events.
One of the reasons Hillary lost was because the mainstream drive by media “annointed” Obama. In liberal eyes, race trumps sex. Even the Clinton machine had a had time bucking the leftist media. But if Hillary gets nominated, the mainstream media will close ranks against any Republican and with their help, the shambles the current administration left the economy, and the Clinton political machine, they will beat McCain.
McCain himself is the worst possible candidate the Repubs could have run, but, again, the mainstream media helped put him there for that very reason.
Is there some way we can appeal to an official to force him to disclose his birth certificate?

Apparently so, but the post is only about one quarter right. I did look at the images in word to look at the metadata, which showed they were photoshop files. However, it was pointed out at the time that this is not very probative since (a) many scanners default into photoshop when the image is scanned and (b) the guy on Kos said from the git-go that he had cropped the image, which would leave that metadata. Also, I did not definitively say they were forgeries, as I was concerned it was a trap. Others much more well versed in imaging software made that argument. I’m just a bystander on this one.
I am not dissing Macs, but when I saw Macintosh in the MetaData I thought “saved from an app on a lefty computer” since so much of the deranged left seems to hate Micro$oft/PCs. FWIW.
