Fox News is announcing that Tony Snow has died.
Heartbreaking news.
RIP, Mr. Snow.

I loved Tony also! Like President Bush says, Tony is in Heaven with the Lord!!!
Thank God it`s really true that Tony is in Heaven! Tony accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour!!!

Heartbreaking news...the tears are flowing, he will be missed by many. Prayers for his family.

I shed some tears myself this morning even though I know Tony’s just been reassigned. Maybe its just the understanding of the struggle he faced at the end. But I worry so much for our future here at this assignment. Our world seems to be losing so many good men, with little left to stand in the gaps. I have six children and I worry so much for them with this world lately. God is good. Please Lord forgive our foolishness and open our eyes and turn our hearts toward You. Tony Snow fought the good fight, help us all to do the same.

I normally don’t put my personal business on the net for all to see, but with the death of my friend Tony Snow, I shall.
Sean Hannity once suggested that I call the Tony Snow Show as a caller, from the first day on (I believe Sean told him I was going to call)Tony AKA the Snowman was nothing but nice to me and we struck up a friendship, even after I moved to Alabama, Tony would take my calls granted I could not hear the show, but where Tony was really a friend was during my bitter and trying divorce, Tony would encourge me to move on and look forward to better days, which rang true and I have now found the woman of my dream.....THANKS SNOWMAN!!!
Tony was and will always be a dear friend and we had the chance to talk before he went over to the White House, during his cancer battle and after he left the White House on and off air.
I always said that “Tony shot from the hip, but even his bitter enemies could not dislike him, Tony could simply charm them facts and that smile of his.”
Tony was a good man and even greater friend, I will miss him dearly!

In preparing for cantoring at Mass this week-end, I looked over the readings. They bring me great comfort as we mourn Tony’s death. I truly see God’s loving hand at work in bringing Tony home at this time.
Reading 1, Isaiah 55:10-11:
Just as from the heavens the rain and SNOW come down and do not return there till they have watered the earth, making it fertile and fruitful, giving seed to the one who sows and bread to the one who eats, so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; my word shall not return to me void, but shall do my will, achieving the end for which I sent it.
The Responsorial Psalm refrain from Psalm 65:
The seed that falls on good ground will yield a fruitful harvest.
Reading 2, Rom 8:18-23:
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us.
