Gee, why are they not talking about you know who?
Does this mean we can get Mitt Romney back in there?
I know, I know, but I can hope can’t I?
University of Arizona professor ...probably couldn’t make it at Berkeley.
Thanks for posting that NYT last gasp at credibility with their fans!
My morning paper had it clustered with with some wonderful pictures of the ‘naturally born’ Obama and a happytalk photo of Hillary - and two bashes at McCain included your article.
I am fascinated and offended at the bias we are expected to swallow... but many fall for it don’t they?
It’s important to note that this came from the NYSlimes ... other media outlets will pick this up and push it.. if correct we have a problem...
Why isn’t BHO being pressed to furnish a birth certificate now that the one posted has been acknowledged as a forgery by it’s creator?
Could we be heading to dual brokered conventions?
Gimme Thompson/Hunter!
*** a law professor at the University of Arizona has concluded that neither Mr. McCains birth in 1936 in the Panama Canal Zone nor the fact that his parents were American citizens is enough to satisfy the constitutional requirement that the president must be a natural-born citizen. ****
Yeah, yeah. And Barry Goldwater was unqualified because he was born in the territory of Arizona.
Btw - where is BO's real birth certificate?
Just sent an email to the writer of this hit piece asking him to write a similar article about Obama - never happen, of course.....
Cue picture of the smacking-self-on-forehead-guy “Awww geez, not this #### again”...
Meanwhile, while there may or may not be legal issues surrounding McCain’s eligibility- he, at least, has provided an actual paper birth certificate and documents regarding the hospital where he was born, etc.
Can one ask only one candidate to provide these items while giving the other a free pass?
Alternately- is the NYT’s getting ready to lower the boom on Obama’s questionable documentation of his birth?
The audacity of hope!
Ok- it’s getting interesting- (though Andy Martin is always holding press conferences) check this out:

Americas media critic Andy Martin slams the New York Times for anti-McCain bias
(NEW YORK)(July 11, 2008) We have planned to hold a blockbuster series of news conference in New York City next week. The hard left accuses me of being the mastermind of an operation to undermine Barack Obamas campaign; I have pleaded guilty to having a clandestine command-and-control bunker deep beneath midtown Manhattan, where I manipulate the mainstream media and cause agita to liberals.
A story in Fridays New York Times, however, has forced me to respond earlier than scheduled to anti-Senator John McCain media bias in the New York Times:
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/11/us/politics/11mccain.html?hp
The Times gives national prominence to the ruminations of a quack law professor (I am an adjunct professor of law myself) who suggests Senator John McCain is not eligible to be president because his father was serving in the U. S. Navy in the Panama Canal Zone when the senator was born. Professor Gabriel Chins legal theories are loopy. But they trigged a different response with me. I immediately had questions about unbalanced coverage and media bias.
~snip~
Senator John McCain is an American citizen.
Where is Barack Hussein Obama's official birth certificate?
Isn’t it amazing that, in the most successful and talented country in the world, we have two people running for President who are arguably: a) the least-qualified for that office in our nation’s history; and b) neither may be eligible for that office.
Only in America, folks! And when can I start disregarding laws?
Ping-a-ling.

What law overrode the 1790 law saying all children born to two citizen parents “beyond sea, or outside the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens”?
It’s starting to look like NEITHER Obama NOR McCain are “natural born citizens.”
