In this election we have very a clear choice to make.
A choice between Victory against Islamic Terrorism or surrender to our terrorist enemy.
A choice between free market capitalist economy or socialism.
A choice between constructionist judges or liberal judges who legislate from the bench.
A choice between Life for the unborn or abortion on demand going wild.
A choice between lower taxes or higher taxes.
A choice between small government or big government.
A choice between John McCain or Barack Obama.
Let us choose John McCain. A Patriot, a war hero, and would be an excellent President.
God Bless America and our brave troops.

[now is the time to defeat the Democrat/Socialist Party.]
With what? Democrat/Socialist Party Lite? Nah. That would only encourage the liberal ("moderate") Republicans and make them believe they are on the right track.
And electing Democrats will teach them a lesson!
Ofcourse, it might get us another 9/11 but its more important to feel good about ones voting purity.

If you want to be a member of the Libertarian or Constitution Party, that is fine, but if one is a Republican, one ought to support the GOP in the General election, or join another Party.Like many, many others, I quit the Republicans this fall (after 30 years), so you may keep your dog and pony show. I am not responsible for it anymore. I will *not* vote for McCain't. I will support and vote for Conservatives, regardless of their affiliation.

And electing Democrats will teach them a lesson!Go ahead, if that's what taps your toe.
But I think you're on the wrong forum.

There is no conservative running for president, therefore i cannot vote in that race. Period. Final. No vote for McCain. Absolutely not. Never. Positively never. Caput. Finis. The end. Done. Nada. Over and out.

Don’t beat yourself up for voting for Perot.
If it wasn’t for that massive protest vote in 1992, we would never have gotten the 1994 Congress and Republicans back in the driver’s seat in the ensuing years in the Congress and White House.
Nice that the GOP thought to repay us with John McCain.

Why didn't you post the entire statement?

It would seem that you have the same problem with truth that the Democrats do.

McCain has made it quite clear he does not want nor need my vote. He is going after dems and indies. Unless he picks a staunch conservative as VP, I will not vote for McCain.

And other then Republicans, how many have been elected?Who cares? Up until now the Republicans held the Conservatives' loyalties. No longer. That changes the game significantly. Not that it matters to me. I will vote perfectly on principle, and only for Reagan Conservatives. The rest can go hang.

That's really funny - I guess the Jews in 1939 Germany didn't think they had anything to worry about either, did they? Seems people don't learn any lessons from history.
Yeah, it's all a joke to you McCain haters.

Because you don't have an explanation. You're just pissed off that McCain is not the candidate you wanted. So instead of thinking about what is best for our country, you choose to make an empty, useless, negative political statement. It's a decision based on emotion rather than logic. I have a perfectly good explanation based on excellent logic. McCain's position is liberal on too many issues. That said, I long ago learned that arguing with people like yourself is useless, as you'll excuse liberal behavior no matter how egregious. You root for the GOP as though it's your favorite sports team instead of holding them to your principles; I won't do that.
To: 4Speed
If you dont vote, youre an BHO supporter.... Oh, I'll vote. Third party, that is.
To: bert
If you dont vote for the Republican candidate you allow Obama by default. By that logic, since I also won't be voting for Obama I am voting for the Republican candidate by default. So I guess that evens things out, huh?
To: NittanyLion
By not voting for either, you are irrelevant.

By not voting for either, you are irrelevant. But my principles will remain intact. And that, after all, is what counts.

"I have a perfectly good explanation based on excellent logic. McCain's position is liberal on too many issues."
Yet the Obamanation is uber-liberal on all of them, but hey, that's okay if he gets into office, just as long as we keep that evil bastard McCain out of there!
Yes, McCain is liberal on some issues; global warming, border security, amnesty - but at least he doesn't want to gut the military, or surrender in Iraq, or kill countless unborn babies or confiscate your privately owned firearms. All of which Obama wouldn't think twice about doing!
"That said, I long ago learned that arguing with people like yourself is useless, as you'll excuse liberal behavior no matter how egregious."
Yet you don't seem to have any problems stepping out of the way to allow a flaming hardcore liberal to take the reins of the most free and greatest country in the world.
"You root for the GOP as though it's your favorite sports team instead of holding them to your principles; I won't do that."
Yep, staying home to pout sure will hold them to our principles.
To: FortWorthPatriot
Yep, staying home to pout sure will hold them to our principles. I'll be out there voting. Just not for either of the two major party liberals.
