Dear Freepers: It is Time to Support John McCain
June 5 2008 | jveritas

Posted on 06/05/2008 6:25:12 PM PDT by jveritas

In this election we have very a clear choice to make.

A choice between Victory against Islamic Terrorism or surrender to our terrorist enemy.

A choice between free market capitalist economy or socialism.

A choice between constructionist judges or liberal judges who legislate from the bench.

A choice between Life for the unborn or abortion on demand going wild.

A choice between lower taxes or higher taxes.

A choice between small government or big government.

A choice between John McCain or Barack Obama.

Let us choose John McCain. A Patriot, a war hero, and would be an excellent President.

God Bless America and our brave troops.

“The problem is a 100% absolute conservative cannot win a dog catcher election in the smallest town in America.”

Problem is JV, neither can a Christian. Are you gonna give that up too? You’re either conservative or you’re not. McCain isn’t. Are you? Kinda like being a little bit pregnant wouldn’t you say?

“I disagree with what the majority of the American people want.”

John McCain

McCain also noted that he was in the opposition when the Arizona Republican Party several years ago endorsed a resolution declaring the United States to be a Christian nation.

``I am a Christian,’’ McCain said, ``and devotion to my faith is integral to my own pursuit of happiness. But we are not only a Christian nation.’’

The senator was recently active in crafting the ``don’t ask-don’t tell’’ policy in regard to gays in the military but has otherwise largely stayed away from the issue during his political career.

Hillary, Obama, and McCain are in a small boat on a stormy ocean. The boat capsizes. Who survives?

America.

Good night all, have fun.

> Bush pushed the envelope but McCain broke it

He didn't break the envelope so much as refuse delivery and marked "Return to Sender."

Hold-outs for Reagans re-appearance will only be remembered as those who helped Obama win the White House.
I agree...there are 2 choices and ONLY 2 choices folks. Stop throwing a hissy fit because the person you wanted is no the one nominated. Obama will be the downfall of America if he gets in and anyone who stays home and sulks will only be a part of it .Again , 2 choices folks .think carefully on this one. This country will be a 3 world sh*t hole in 2 years with Obama at the helm.(that is if he doesn’t give it away to the Muzzies) fear mongering you say ? you bet your a$$ you better be afraid if Obama gets in .

[Who will liberate the new Paris]

Lol, France is just about a ‘lost cause’. Just read that Western Line Dancing is the biggest craze over there.

You know me, I forget exact details - but now the ‘people’ in charge over there are wanting to ‘tone it down’.

Silliest thing I ever heard, probably some muslim saw too much ‘ankle’ showing or something, lol.

Sadly, Juan Hernandez and his band of 25 million illegals are the real winners, no matter who gets elected. Get ready to go 3rd world.

Good for him!

Now he can win the general election.

But I do not believe that he will.

It won’t be long now untilo the Democrats officially have a nominee. Then the main stream media’s honeymoon with Mc Cain will be over. Every Mc Cain scandle will be hashed and rehashed and Obama will be pushing his buttons. By election day Mc Cain will be the most hated person in America. Even his dog [if he has one] will not like him.

If one was around in 2004 one should remember how vicious they were to President Bush. And they could not find any scandal to attack him. With Mc Cain they have oodles. It ain’t going to be purity.

Both are traitors and this is the very best the American populace can produce ? No thank you . Either 1 of these is not a choice nor will they serve in the best interest of this .... Republic .

I would be willing to make a bet that although that is what he swore during the primaries, it will in fact not happen.

I thought McCain’t had an 86% approval rating (or rating approval) from the ACU?! Are we still gonna 86 ‘im?

There was a comment on a thread a few weeks back that said the reason Mcpains ACU rating was so high was because he missed so many votes. Maybe I bookmarked the thread, I'll see if I can find it.

“A choice between lower taxes or higher taxes. (guffaws) McCain will not lower taxes - he has the Senate disease.”

He voted against both Clinton’s and GHW Bush’s tax hikes.

I agree with you ..BUT...one is worse than the other and we MUST not let Obama get in . AGAIN, common sense. No one who is a conservative can stay home and watch Obama take it . I don’t really want Mc cain in but I’m even stronger in wanting to keep Obama OUT !
That will be the end of the USA. I don’t think many here know what this guy really is .
