Dear Freepers: It is Time to Support John McCain
June 5 2008 | jveritas

Posted on 06/05/2008 6:25:12 PM PDT by jveritas

In this election we have very a clear choice to make.

A choice between Victory against Islamic Terrorism or surrender to our terrorist enemy.

A choice between free market capitalist economy or socialism.

A choice between constructionist judges or liberal judges who legislate from the bench.

A choice between Life for the unborn or abortion on demand going wild.

A choice between lower taxes or higher taxes.

A choice between small government or big government.

A choice between John McCain or Barack Obama.

Let us choose John McCain. A Patriot, a war hero, and would be an excellent President.

God Bless America and our brave troops.

Don’t start crying when Obama is POTUS and you helped put him there by being stubborn and not voting—not voting is the same as voting for Obama. Grow up. The country is at stake and people that really read into this KNOW what IS at stake. It is not time for being a martyr.

2006???? I held my nose and voted. Guess what? It still stunk.

Actually I was quite happy because I got to vote against one of McCain's anti oil, pro abort, anti gun, pro amnesty Soros puppet RINO buddies and defeat him.

Just pray that McCain uses good sense on his VP pick.

What ever became of Ross Perot, out of sight and always out of his mind.

How can anyone say John Sidney McCain will carry on a war on terror when he wants open borders and voted AGAINST barring terrorists? Make no sense.

Yep. The ball is in his court. No money...no support but pick a “real” conservative VP and he might get my vote.

In war as in life, it is often necessary when some cherished scheme has failed, to take up the best alternative open, and if so, it is folly not to work for it with all your might.

Obama will remove all accomplishments of our Military and the objectives attained. If you think Ruth Ginsberg was bad just wait until it’s Bill. Can’t you see Marine 1 saluting our CIC Barack Hussein Obama, (I doubt he returns it).

If we had 50 Republicans in the Senate he would caucus with the Democrats.

McCain kept repeating in the debates that "Washington is broken."

He failed to mention he has spent 25 years in Washington to help break it and done little to help fix it. So now, he expect us to trust him?

I hate to tell you, but no matter who wins, unless they make radical legislation, the economy will rebound over the next few years.

The chances getting a bad economy increases dramatically with 'Obama the Marxist' at the wheel. And BTW, the economy hasn't been all too bad over the last decade. Many of the silly talking heads in the news have been trying to change the definition of recession because it's an election year. The GDP is in a slow down which is not a recession.

One of the first things he will send to Congress is something to kill those PACs. Other than that, yours sounds reasonable (for you.)

McCain needs a ‘come to Jesus’ meeting and convince us he has left the RINO Ranch. Do I think this will happen? Of course not.

I know that the responses you are getting do not bode well for the November election. I agree with your points in support of McCain. I will support and vote for him. I have already contributed to his campaign.

Obama is a Marxist with a strong sense of entitlement. He has already told his supporters that he is "proud of" them for having voted for him. Roll that around in your head for a while. He has told us that we cannot drive what we want, eat what we want, do what we want, the government will tell us what we can do (by implication).

I remember Jimmy Carter, but unlike most people, I see him in the world we face now. He may have been out of office for a long time but the situation in the Middle East, from Iran to Lebanon, to Israel and Gaza all bear his stamp. South and Central American Marxism has some of its roots in the policies of his administration. Domestically, his policies still echo in regulatory practices and policies. This was a guy thoroughly disgraced and unelectable after one term. I don't see Obama as willing to serve only one term.

It's funny that a lot of "so called' conservatives will curse, ridicule and condemn people supporting McCain while tacitly allowing Obama to triumphantly march into office. Viva Che, I guess.

What totally more than evens it out is the fact that Obama wants to ‘do away’ with the military. There are YouTubes and threads telling about it.

No Military, no protection at all. Then we’re done for, they win.

I thought McCain’t had an 86% approval rating (or rating approval) from the ACU?! Are we still gonna 86 ‘im?
