I frankly wouldn't be surprised AT ALL to see the Exxon's, Chevron's, etc. of the world move their corporate HQ out of the US of A in the next few years. The socialists in Congress will still target the portion of these companies still left here at home, but they can take an enormous chunk of their assests which are taxable in the US out of harms way.
Not hard to do at all with the resources and options companies of this size can muster.

Shoot, I'm getting ready to start offering scholarships if need be for people to assemble (peacefully). This is infuriating and like Laura is saying, where are the republicans defending these guys. This is eerie and perhaps a watershed event. They take down “Big Oil” and you'd better learn how to plant corn and raise cattle, your gonna need it if you and your family want to eat.

This is good. They’re feeling overconfident that any democrat will be a shoe-in, the mask is falling away.

Do you have a link to the video? Or even a link to the article quoted in the original post? Does the video show the response from the Shell CEO?

Did I hear right, Laura played a sound clip of McCain, talking about not drilling anywhere. Is that his current position??

If this indeed comes to pass, I’d speculate strongly that it was a ‘Rat plan all along - get gas/oil prices sky high via no drilling offshore, no ANWR drilling, no new refineries, no new nuclear plants, money into Arab oil driller pockets that gets to terrorists that we have to spend billions on to fight, corn/crop price rises as they supplement gas production. Just so they can get the ‘rat public worked up to back ‘em to nationalize the oil industry.

I think were headed for a fight.
Who is?
The Republican leadership and McCain ain’t gonna fight nothin’.
They’re going to “reach across the aisle”, like they are doing on the farm bill and HR 5515 which kills all state and local laws fighting illegal immigration.

All politics is local, as the saying goes. You have your party, then same thing, different town, until everybody gets into the act. Effigies are particularly effective. Oh, but one must be careful not to offend./s
P*ss off, I’m offeded because everybody else is offended.

Can you imagine if Maxine Waters were burned in effigy over her declaration that she wants to socialize/nationalize the oil business?
The media would focus TOTALLY on the race angle, and not on the real issue of socialism.

Nationalizing the oil industry can’t be all bad. Look at how Mexico’s economy prospered with Pemex.

She and Clinton (Ms.) are just two of the rats who have publicly announced their intentions to follow the lead of their fellow traveler Hugo Chavez. Correct. She is supporting Rush's favorite gal Hillary.
