Jim Robinson is in surgery today and the last thing he needs to be worried about is whether or not the freepathon is going to continue for another day/week/month.

Sorry .... I talked to Sheila about 1:30 and she didn’t know anything new. I tried to call again but she must be at the hospital.
I will keep working on getting some info to share. Hopefully I can get thru to Jim.

Jim Update:
It has been a frustrating day, I finally have a update for everyone.
I called Jim at the hospital. The nurse was in his room and gave him the phone. Sheila took his cell phone to him so I will be able to contact him easier. Also they took his laptop.
Due to major pain killers, he was able to sleep in the bed last night and was in bed when I called.
He sounded better than he has for the past few months.
He will be there for at least one more night; maybe more depending on decisions being made tonight.
They may remove Jim's left leg at the knee tomorrow. The docs have told him that the poison in that leg is going to continue causing problems.
Jim is really reluctant to let them remove the leg but I told him that if it will relieve the pain and stop all the damage it is doing to his internal organs, he should let them take it. Jim cannot use his legs now. He only has limited use of his right leg and no muscle remains in his left leg. The muscular dystrophy has done a number on his muscles while he has been ill.
I hope this makes sense.
When I hear what the decision is, I will let you know. In the meantime, Jim needs our prayers tonight and tomorrow.
Father, hear our prayers.

Oh, this is heartbreaking, Amy. But, in a way, it is encouraging at the same time. I hope they will keep him in the hospital until he is WELL on his way to become healthy again. From what you have said up to this point, I don't feel that has happened yet. I am glad that he sounds better than he has in awhile. I think it is because they are better able to monitor and control his pain in the hospital. And I thank God that he finally got a good nights sleep!
I will talk to jk tonight and see if we can't make a visit up there tomorrow evening, if you think it would be a good idea.

It has been absolutely ages since I have posted - used to all the time - but anyway - I digress.....
Jim -prayers are going up for you - God Speed, my friend!!!

I know he would like to see you and JK.
I think he was rested, hydrated and finally getting some antibiotics in his system.
He also told me that the swelling in his left leg has gone down since he has been in bed.
I also asked about his pressure sores and he said they were also going to tackle that problem tonight.
No one got up to see him today except Chris and Sheila. They were there when I called.
Notpoliticallycorewrecked is going to try to get up to see him tonight. Enterprise said he will see him tomorrow. If Jim is going to be there a few days, it might be good if you and JK could see him either Thursday or Friday.
