Attn McCain Apologists: Talk all you want! (Vanity)

Attn McCain Apologists: Talk all you want!

But he's still a constitution trampling RINO and unless he repeals McCain-Feingold, repudiates amnesty and global warming, drops all support for embryonic stem cell research and stops talking about partnering up with the Democrats and instead swears to fight the evil bastards he won't be getting my support.

You kicked the conservatives to the curb and nominated your RINO, now all you gotta do is get him elected.

However, that shouldn't be all that tough to do. Look what he'll be running against. A corrupt, power hungry Marxist radical feminist control freak or a corrupt, America-hating racist Marxist surrender monkey (oops, can I say "surrender monkey" in this context?). Can't see America going for either of those two useful idiots.

By the way, "change" is a Marxist codeword.

As they say, America deserves better.

Carry on.

P.S.

Or, you can select a kick butt pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-America, pro-gun, pro-drilling, pro-defense, pro-small government, fiscal conservative as your running mate and signal a return to traditional conservatism as the future of the GOP and of America and you will get all the support you need. If she's a moose hunting Alaskan army mom, all the better!

I am sick of the McCain apologists calling me every name in the book because I won’t vote for that piece of crap. I have the right to vote (or not) for anyone.

I understand the expressed sentiments but I too don't let it worry me none in the least either. If they wish to continue demonstrating what a bunch of moronic sheep act like then I just stand aside and let them behave in that self-destructive manner.

We're partly in the situation we're in because for too long we've held our collective noses while pulling the lever for the lesser of the two evils because with each passing election the choices continue to get less than appealing than the previous election cycle. I too will pass on the top slot on the ballot and vote on the down ballot positions. It won't matter which of the three socially liberal candidates win we are screwed. The Republican party will be devastated and decimated this election cycle. It's past time for conservatives to seperate themselves from the Whig Republican "Blue Blood" Party

For those that liked Bush then they'll just be in Americas emerging socialist pig heaven with McInsane. McInsane does not have my or my families interest at heart. Heck, he doesn't have Americas best interest in mind.

Music to my ears

I was actually kinda-sorta-maybe-perhaps leaning towards voting for him until his recent Global Warming rant. At the same time, I noticed that one of my neighbors removed his McCain sign on his yard.

Only my local and state reps deserve my vote this November.

The football is conservative principles. We are Charlie Brown. McCain is Lucy.

At some point, we have to ignore Lucy and come up with a new game plan. Now I don’t want to stretch the analogy to Obama and Hillary (they are on the opposite side). It is a simple analogy and illustrates how me and a lot of conservatives feel. Enough is enough.

If it was Jule vs. Hillobama, I'd vote for Julie.

You know, fixing this country means fixing the Democratic Party too. If they get beat every time they put up a gun-grabbing, pro-abort, military hater, they will eventually stop, even if the person beating their gun-grabbing, pro-abort is a gun-grabbing, pro-abort who has proclaimed that he has repented.

We will all be better off.

Rush is one of the best things conservatives have going right now. Rush hasn’t endorsed McCain.

Yet!

"I am sick of the McCain apologists calling me every name in the book because I won’t vote for that piece of crap. I have the right to vote (or not) for anyone."

Yesterday we had a thread telling McCain "haters" to "shut-up".

They are emboldened by McCain-Feingold and it's fascist goal of silencing us.

I agree 100%. This election is the one that caused me to create my own version of Raglans comment: I did not leave the republican party. The republican party left me.

I think I may just go ahead and vote for McCain though, because the damage to the party, if he wins, will probably be irreparable and final - and sometimes things have to get worse before they get better.

The problem is that the damage to the country may be irreparable and final no matter which one of these three gets elected.

That would be a conservative. Not allowed in the Dimocrap party.

May I, pretty please, be the Ambassador to the US Virgin Islands?

Consider it done! but first I've got to write a check for the FReepathon, feed the dog and the cats, buy my wife more ammo and then mow the lawn .... ;o)

I appreciate everything you’ve done for us, but some things are beyond what you and I can do.

They aren't beyond what we can do, we (Conservatives) as a whole just haven't been willing to do what's necessary.

If all Conservatives stopped donating to the GOP and to RINO candidates, and if we stopped voting for RINOs, the GOP would have to decide just what it stands far.

The GOP is facing an identity crisis, as near as I can tell. The leadership and big donors seem to think that going after liberals is a way to win, even at the expense of some Conservatives, because they know that most Republicans will grumble a bit and then support whoever they are pushing. That's partly why the GOP has done well in the past.

The problem is, the more we support the GOP and the RINOs (both with our money and with our votes), the more we become enablers - we enable the RINOs to move the party further to the left, and the leadership and big money donors follow them.

Unless we are willing to take a stand and either try and take back the GOP or build up a third party (new or existing), we are going to continue to enable liberal Republicans to move the party further and further to the left. Bush was a wakeup call - he turned out to be quite liberal. Unfortunately many went into denial about him and about the GOP.

“Sometimes you’ve just got to choose the lesser of two evils”

Your reply: “Nice to know there are people out there that WOULD choose evil and brag about it. /s. “

I don’t see this as bragging. It’s taking a bitter pill.

So your perfectly willing to let someone win if it could badly hurt this nation? I believe McCain wouldn’t be a good president but I believe Obama could do major damage.
