But he's still a constitution trampling RINO and unless he repeals McCain-Feingold, repudiates amnesty and global warming, drops all support for embryonic stem cell research and stops talking about partnering up with the Democrats and instead swears to fight the evil bastards he won't be getting my support.
You kicked the conservatives to the curb and nominated your RINO, now all you gotta do is get him elected.
However, that shouldn't be all that tough to do. Look what he'll be running against. A corrupt, power hungry Marxist radical feminist control freak or a corrupt, America-hating racist Marxist surrender monkey (oops, can I say "surrender monkey" in this context?). Can't see America going for either of those two useful idiots.
By the way, "change" is a Marxist codeword.

I am now a registered 'Rat so that I can vote in the 'Rat primary in Oregon.

Hey, I never said I LIKED McCain, I don’t. But the alternative is so evil it doesn’t bear thinking about.
Appears Jim is on a roll. Pardon my French, but we are SO screwed. To this day I'm unable to figger out how McCain was able to pull it off. He was biding his time, waiting in the weeds when something happened. What was it???

I WILL NOT do anything that might cause Obama or She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named to get elected. That’s my criteria, this time around, since we don’t have a conservative running. If it means voting for McCain, so be it.

McCain is the latest shiney apple out of the Third-Way basket. I don’t see people acknowledging that point.
He would be a democrat if not for the sham support he professes for our military. I consider that to be a fraud.
He wants to close Guantanamo. He doesn’t approve of water boarding of terrorists. He seems unable to understand the problems of housing terrorists on our soil. He doesn’t seem able to understand that civil trials could expose methods and contacts. He didn’t seem to understand the families of MIAs in Vietnam would be upset when he sided with those that wanted to put that issue to rest so that normalized relations with that nation could move forward. If this is a strong supporter of the military, heaven help us.
John evidently knows he is weak on that point, since he’s been waging a campaign to inform the nation that he’s got direct decendents all the way back to Adam, who have fought in every military action since including those in the Bible. In a word, pathetic.
Have I missed something? Are we supposed to be voting for John or his family tree?
John seems to think he can do anything he likes and then just point to the family tree, then votes a plenty. Well, not gonna happen in my household John.
Provide even a moderate conservative and I’ll vote for them. I proved that in 2004. I’m not going to sell my soul for the likes of John McCain.
