Attn McCain Apologists: Talk all you want!
But he's still a constitution trampling RINO and unless he repeals McCain-Feingold, repudiates amnesty and global warming, drops all support for embryonic stem cell research and stops talking about partnering up with the Democrats and instead swears to fight the evil bastards he won't be getting my support.
You kicked the conservatives to the curb and nominated your RINO, now all you gotta do is get him elected.
However, that shouldn't be all that tough to do. Look what he'll be running against. A corrupt, power hungry Marxist radical feminist control freak or a corrupt, America-hating racist Marxist surrender monkey (oops, can I say "surrender monkey" in this context?). Can't see America going for either of those two useful idiots.
By the way, "change" is a Marxist codeword.
As they say, America deserves better.
Carry on.
P.S.
Or, you can select a kick butt pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-America, pro-gun, pro-drilling, pro-defense, pro-small government, fiscal conservative as your running mate and signal a return to traditional conservatism as the future of the GOP and of America and you will get all the support you need. If she's a moose hunting Alaskan army mom, all the better!
LOL! You can say any dang thing you want Jim!
The one that may be a 'lil risque is "Porch Monkee"!
Hee Hee!...
Duncan Hunter just doesn't appeal to that many people. His stature, demeanor, and rhetoric simply did not make the sale. Fred had one great video (the "response" to Michael Moore) and then pffft. He started late and rusty and got outworked by McCain by a factor of a hundred. I wanted him to be the guy, but he just wasn't. Romney is Romney. Not so many of us ever really trusted him. Rudy sucked, Huckabee was/is a joke, so it's McCain.
There is no sense in Conservatives acting like victims here. It was obvious starting in November 2004 that November 2008 would be an historic opportunity for Conservatives, and I have been saying this constantly on this site since before 11/04. Hillary had what I thought was a lock on the 'Rat nomination and she was and is an astoundingly weak general election candidate. Now Obama has popped up and looks to take the nod but I believe him to be even weaker than the witch! Thus if we had an energized and well organized Conservative nominee (say, the Fred many of us wished we had some months ago) we would be looking great right about now. And this in spite of President Bush's shortcomings, improvident events (Katrina, Iraq dificulties, credit and housing swoons, etc.), and the electoral setbacks of November 2006.
Bottom line: we had a great opportunity but no great candidate. This is our own damn fault! We can't sit around and wait for the next great Conservative leader to just appear on cue in early 2011. Starting in November of this year, regardless of the outcome of this fall's election, we have to identify and promote (and defend!) likely Conservative leaders. The leftists are doing so and taking them out (George Allen, Rick Santorum, etc.) We need to play ball!
P!$$ off back to your Bund meeting.
I posted it, in clear text, but it seems it was pulled.
Now, you've done it, Jim. The Obama campaign will soon be issuing a statement condemning you as a racist. And, McCain campaign will look to distance themselves from your remarks.
Ditto Jim!
You kicked the conservatives to the curb and nominated your RINO, now all you gotta do is get him elected.

A lot of us didn’t get a chance to vote yet........
“It seems to me that the only important opinion is the one each of us have.”
Exactly! and MOST of US didn’t get a chance to cast a vote before McCain was anointed. By the people??? Not hardly.
Our only hope is McCain picks a real conservative as VEEP, gets elected, and just as he is taking the oath of office.............................................
Now I'm torn. Yesterday someone suggested writing in Ann Coulter. That was fine with me since I have NO intention of voting for any of the 3 possible candidates. Maybe Eugene would be a better choice, or maybe my dog Bonnie, either of whom would do a better job than McCain, Obama, or Hillary if elected IMO.
Somebody said the choices in 2008 are like a horse beauty contest in a glue factory.
“Nobody forced McCain on us. “
Nonsense. To hear the Media tell it, McCain was the only candidate the Gop had! No matter who was winning polls, no matter who was winning debates, McCain was the winner according to them. Most of us didn’t cast a vote until they informed us “it is McCain”!
Do you work for the media?
Bumperonee!
I agree with you 100% about McQueeg, but you already knew that. We'll have the lowest voter turn-out in history, is my guess. It'll be like special school-bond elections.
Why was there never a McCain truth file at the time when it might have done some good?
Yep.
Hey, I liked that, CCC.....
