There's a lot of history that's coming to a head here. Just think, we're in a country that's so politically and legally stable that we're having an honest argument about what the English Bill of Rights of 1689 meant.

Anyone here still want Obama or Hillary to nominate the next few Supreme Court Justices?

I think Robertss question cuts to the heart of the matter: It sure does! Most of the justices from their questions I think aren't buying the DC argument at all.

I’m getting the impression that Ginsburg is giving Dellinger every opportunity to convince her but he hasn’t done it yet. Opinion?

“Common use” - the M-16 assault rifle is in “common use” by the US Military.

The 2nd Amendment will be a MAJOR issue in this fall’s election.
Clinton and Obama will not be able to hide as soon as this decision is handed down.

Anyone here still want Obama or Hillary to nominate the next few Supreme Court Justices? Yeah. They do. Something about teaching someone a lesson.

Dellinger just tried to get out of the crosshairs... the Justices kept him squarely in their sights... this is BEAUTIFUL!!!

Yep. She is asking the questions to support her pre-disposed anti-gun stance, but he hasn’t yet. Ginsberg is looking for ANY excuse to support the ban.

Something about teaching someone a lesson. Kind of like wishing one of your children would get hit crossing the street in order to teach the rest of your kids the lesson to look both ways first.

I’m finding that I have to hold my glee. I want to see how the Justices grill Heller’s side.
The Solicitor General should be shaking in his boots right now. He’s watching what he will go through in a few minutes.
I’ve never seen an attorney stutter like Dellinger is.

I don’t know anything about the US Sup Court, but in my (biased) view this argument sounded really bad for the anti-RKBA POV.
Maybe I’m just hearing what I want to....?
