WOODINVILLE, Wash. - Four large homes are burning at a "Street of Dreams" model home development north of Woodinville. Snohomish County District Seven Chief Rick Eastman tells KING 5 that a sign saying ELF was left at the scene. ELF or Earth Liberation Front has claimed responsibility for other arsons, including one at the University of Washington in 2001 for which a woman is now on trial in Tacoma.
KING No injuries have been reported in the three-alarm fire, which started around 4 a.m. Monday. Eastman says some of the homes were still under construction. He said one is a total loss and two homes are substantially damaged. He says fires also were set at a total of six homes. Eastman also said that the fires are suspicious because they were set in multiple places in separate homes. The Street of Dreams is an annual showcase of luxury homes in the Seattle area. The latest development is off Highway 522 at Echo Lake Drive. Eastman says police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating.
Not anymore. (rim shot)
Cheers!
That was my thought when I saw the fires on the news. Idiot eco-terrorists...
I moved from Seattle a year ago; it's a beautiful area and people are always going to want to have homes in the suburban areas. These ELF people have got to be stopped, preferably by 20 year prison terms, before someone dies.
The birkenstockers have lost considerable enthusiasm for violence ever since direct action started carrying adult-size prison sentences.
Makes me happy.
Can you supply links or details, please?
Cheers!
Can arsonists be shot in Washington State? A dead ELF member won't kill anybody and it might deter some of the kids who think that "eco arson" is a cool thing to do.
These terrorists should be caught, have all the body hair burned off their bodies and sent to Guantanamo with paper cuts that have been dipped into iodine.

Jury gets case of defendant in 2001 University of Wash. arson (Briana Waters)
yes, all the other of her compadres flipped on her when offered deals. funny thing is that the Patriot Act broke the case open via their emails.
They have had the Street of Dreams for a long time in Seattle. Basically, it is a new development, with contractors and appliance makers all stuffing the latest and greatest into each house, and people touring them to go “Ooooh Aaaah”
I thought it was over the top in the 80s...but I am sure it only grew more-so in the time since.
Surprising there was no security on site...or maybe there was and they took them out.
THAT must be why the Washington DC dems and their flying monkeys in the MSM hate the Patriot Act -- it can put real teeth into the efforts to fight their subversion of the United States.
Full Disclosure: All the more reason, btw, to fight against the Clintons in the White House. Given their penchant for demonizing their enemeies...Remember Bubba blaming the Oklahoma City bombing on "right wing talk radio" ?
Cheers!
The Lenin statue is in Fremont.
This is definitely an ELF technique, but given the current state of the economy the circumstances are...let us say, suspicious. For the typical builder skating on the thin edge of bankruptcy, just little too CONVEEEEEENYENT.
did they ever catch the ELF guy that was on America’s Most wanted a few times?
The enviro wacos have been running ads on the radio in Whatcom county asking people to refrain from burning their trash for the sake of the environment. Well, we don’t have trash pick up, so we burn a substantial bit of trash, regularly.
Appears to me that as long as this is a free country, anyone should be able to build any size house they want. I think that the idea that posters on this conservative forum are complaining about the size of someone else’s house is a little strange.
One hopes her buddies have just insured she doesn't get a minimal sentence...
Did they offer to pick it up for you?
Not endorsing your implication but what do ya want to bet at least a few of them live at Evergreen State, which the taxpayers fund?
Shooting is too good for them. They should be burned to death.
