They have had the Street of Dreams for a long time in Seattle. Basically, it is a new development, with contractors and appliance makers all stuffing the latest and greatest into each house, and people touring them to go “Ooooh Aaaah”

I thought it was over the top in the 80s...but I am sure it only grew more-so in the time since.

Surprising there was no security on site...or maybe there was and they took them out.

Correct. Woodinville has also been ground zero in the battle against sprawl, along with Snoqualmie and North Bend (aka Twin Peaks).

This development project was a different Street of Dreams. It was a development with a huge investment in environmentally friendly, “green” technology. That is the irony of this eco-terrorism.
