New Texas ad (link in post #2):
"It's time to stand up and be counted, not lie down and be conquered."
Even if Senator John McCain were to pass away between now and the Minneapolis GOP convention, Governor Mike Huckabee would NOT be the nominee. Someone like Governor Tim Pawlenty will be brought in as a compromise candidate.
I can’t vote for you next week Mike so....I’ll early vote for you tomorrow and hopefully get 5 other people to do so too.
I supported Fred as the best until he dropped out. At that point, Huckabee was the sole remaining candidate worthy of my vote in Tennessee and he received it. If I would not vote for someone in the primary, my new rule is that I will not vote for them in the general.
Who would have thought that we would see
A choice as weak as Huckabee?
Another Clinton, who when pressed,
Will not defend the brave, free West.
"Fools rush in," it's often said.
But wimpy men can make us dead.
Go away, Mike.
That's 5.
I know my daughters boyfriend and his family will vote for Him Tuesday, and that's a bunch. Probably about 12 more. We have discussed this quite a bit and we want to send McCain a message. Hunter was my first choice, then Thompson. I don't want to just throw my vote away on someone not even running, so it's Huckabee.
I just hope it's enough to keep McCain humble. If its 70% to 30%, You won't be able to wipe that grin off McPains pie hole. He believes he doesn't need Christian conservatives and he can count on RINO's and crossover Dems to win. We will have Kennedy and Clinton in the White house more than Republicans if McCain wins.
Everyone has to keep cool and fair!
Republicans and furthermore conservatives should not behave like fanatic demonrats, obsama’s worshippers!
The Republican nominee will have to gather all the sensible americans who don’t want to see their great country go downward in a dangerous world...
Good luck,good job
No problems with what you said. I credit you with not being bitter (or holding a grudge) like some of the others.
I acknowledge that keeping McCain from (or voting Huckabee into) the nomination is unlikely, but I also say that a vote of conscience counts.
I will vote for Huckabee in NC on May 5, whether it alters the outcome or not. In the meantime, I’ll be watching the angry mob spew. If they think I’m wasting my time, they don’t realize the irony in their posts knocking Huckabee.
"Thank you for coming by......give a big hand for Mike Hucksterbee.......thank you for being here......thanks for stopping by.......uh Governor......we're through with you now.......please......good bye.......go away.........security?.....
I thank God that the Founding Fathers of this country were not quitters - like so many GOP robots voicing their rehearsed rhetoric here in this post!
Of all the anti-Huck rhetoric about him, I never hear any substantiative opposition to any of his Conservative positions as outlined on:
http://www.mikehuckabee.com/?FuseAction=Issues.Home
It’s always a bunch of juvenile, drive-by comments. So those of you that profess to be so conservative, let me ask you this:
If you believe that Huckabee isn’t really that conservative, then what would you consider McCain? (those of you who haven’t had the McCain chip planted in your brain yet by the GOP can answer this... ) Please outline in what area McCain is the better choice on the issues???
Don’t buy into the electability (The Karl Rove steal your real vote) argument!
Neither of them do, but they arrive sweaty & out of breath from hurrying to your threads to annoy & disrupt.
The problem with the Huckster is not that he's unelectable; it's that he already lost.
sw
Mike Huckabee will be on Hannity and Colmes tonight. Coming up.
Ohio - Republicans McCain 62% Huckabee 19% Paul 8% Someone else 5% Not sure 6%
