I supported Fred as the best until he dropped out. At that point, Huckabee was the sole remaining candidate worthy of my vote in Tennessee and he received it. If I would not vote for someone in the primary, my new rule is that I will not vote for them in the general.

No problems with what you said. I credit you with not being bitter (or holding a grudge) like some of the others.

I acknowledge that keeping McCain from (or voting Huckabee into) the nomination is unlikely, but I also say that a vote of conscience counts.

I will vote for Huckabee in NC on May 5, whether it alters the outcome or not. In the meantime, I’ll be watching the angry mob spew. If they think I’m wasting my time, they don’t realize the irony in their posts knocking Huckabee.
