Barack Obama’s campaign is expressing outrage at a new photo attributed to Clinton campaign sources that depicts the Democratic presidential candidate dressed in Somali garb.
The picture, which appeared at the top of Monday’s Drudge Report, says Clinton staffers circulated the 2006 photo over the weekend. It shows the Illinois senator fitted as a Somali elder, during his visit to northeastern Kenya that was part of a five-country tour of Africa.
“On the very day that Senator Clinton is giving a speech about restoring respect for America in the world, her campaign has engaged in the most shameful, offensive fear-mongering we’ve seen from either party in this election,” Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said.
“This is part of a disturbing pattern that led her county chairs to resign in Iowa, her campaign chairman to resign in New Hampshire, and it’s exactly the kind of divisive politics that turns away Americans of all parties and diminishes respect for America in the world,” Plouffe continued.
According to Drudge, the unnamed Clinton campaign staffer said: “Wouldn’t we be seeing this on the cover of every magazine if it were HRC,” short-hand for the candidate, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Shown the photo by reporters, Bill Clinton’s press secretary said the candidate’s spouse will not have any reaction.

I thin the difference is that she wears it to be a visitor he wears it because he be,lieves in it , he is the one who went to a madrassa and it was he who had a radical muslim father and grand father so much radical that he and his family moved to indonisia

What does it mean “released by the Clinton campaign”? Surely they weren’t with him in Somalia, so they didn’t take the picture and hold it until now. The picture must be from some public record.
So at best, the Clinton campaign USED it in some press release.
“It was excellent strategy to release that picture. Hopefully, they have more similar to that one.”
They should put it side-by-side with the photo of him not saluting the flag during the National Anthem.
Of course it will never sway his hard core supporters. They don’t care about America anyway.
It might however give those who are true patriots, yet simple, a wake-up call.

This is the central point: though there is little doubt that Senator Obama attended a nominally Christian church (the term used in its loosest sense) there is, as far as I know, no record of him having gone through a baptism, confirmation or other rite of acceptance into the church.
If he did not, or if that "church" does not have such a procedure or ritual, then Obama has never formally renounced the Muslim faith and forsworn the shahada.
When I was a kid, the church I attended used to put on a seder meal to celebrate Passover as part of their Passion Week events. One of the few Jewish families who lived in our small town used to be the church's guests of honor at these and lead the seder. Absent any proof to the contrary, Senator Obama has no more stopped being a Muslim for attending some services at a "Christian" church than that family stopped being Jewish for attending those seders.

why just why hasn’t clinton gone after him for his racist church, hiim not saluting the flag nor will he wear an American pin, even his wife has said she is not proud or wasn’t until her husband might get into power
we still don’t know if he is a muslim, that church he goes to is not along the lines of a christian church but of a place where black racist go and talk about Africa and how the white man is bad

Wow — Hillary is really getting desperate. Trotting out a photo of a politician dressing up in local garb in a customary gesture of respect as if it had some eeeeevil significance is plumbing new depths of absurdity even for the Clintons.
I still believe he is still a muslim and thaty church he goes to is hardly a christian one

I hope some people realise that this is not just about wearing a traditional dress but more to the point his upbringing as a muslim, his never saying he is not a muslim, his wanting to have an islamic conference straight away with America and all islamic nations including Iran
