and doesn’t make what any prosecutor would call a prima facie case.

Vince Bugliosi would disagree.

I believe the government had something to do with it also,

I have long believed, and have read many books on the subject, that the government 'conspiracy' was after the fact. The people involved in the assassination worked independently of government agencies, but once the deed was done, the CIA realized that they could take a huge hit if the people involved were caught. Thus the agency went into full gear to save it's ass, not because they were guilty, but that there would be a disastrous perception of their guilt.

“....I did a little testing myself with the same type of rifle Oswald used ... and I was lucky to hit one time....the action of the rifle is so rough you have to take it off your shoulder to eject and chamber....then to realign the scope that quickly to get the next shot off...is somewhat impossible....”

Funny, that very objection occurred to me at the time, as I owned an Italian Manlicher-Carcano myself. However, when I tested the gun’s handling, I found no trouble getting off the 3 shots in the estimated time. I suppose that the quality of the rifles varied greatly, as one would expect with wartime produced weapons, and you had an especially crappy one. The difficulties you describe sound to me like a rough and poorly head-spaced chamber rather than a rough action, however.

The point is, the ACTUAL rifle found at the Book Depository has been tested, and, while no sniper weapon, is adequate in the hands of a trained marksman to make the shots involved. Only two hits out of three is hardly impossibly accurate performance.

“I believe...that the government ‘conspiracy’ was after the fact.”

Everything I have read leads me to believe that the Secret Service, the FBI and the CIA were all in desperate ‘CYA’ mode after the shooting. The President had been killed, and each agency, and every employee in each, was frantic to avoid being seen as the one who could have, should have stopped it, but didn’t. IMO, that explains the often self-contradictory statements coming out of official mouthpieces both immediately after the fact and in the 45 years since much better than prior conspiracy. After all, if you had planned the deed in advance, you should have put a very good cover story and alibi in place before hand.

"The logical one behind it was Lyndon Johnson."

Nope,
The party ran away from him just as it ran away from Kennedy (JF).

I'm not a JFK fan, but the dem party would be different today if someone had flinched.

The JFK assination was a mob hit. Kennedy was screwing a mobster’s girlfriend, and Oswald and Ruby were the facilitators.

Back and to the left, back and to the left.

Triangulation of crossfire. That's the key. That's the key.

Kennedy was screwing a mobster’s girlfriend,

If I recall it was a Chicago mob boss's wife. After the mob boss died his wife came out and told of her affair with kennedy.

Good info, but when I visited the site back in ‘81, I was
surprised how small an area it was. The hill JFK was
rolling down much shorter than I expected, the angle was
steeper than expected also, and the distance between the 6th floor
of the building and street level couldn’t have been
more than 100 feet or so...
It is also possible that a person could be a deadeye shot
with a weapon that another person cannot handle well...

Perhaps the vehicle was accelerating when JFK was shot, and
would explain a backward moving head, since he would have
been limp and unable to control his head.
Anyway, just my one cent of opinion...good luck to the
theorists...

Of great interest to me is that the event happened in
“real” time, was observed by hundreds, if not thousands, live,
was filmed, and there is still differing opinions as
to what happened and why. By those standards, how could ancient
history have ever occured, and what will the future generations
say about our generation?

No, Judith Exner was Sam Giancana’s girlfriend, not his wife.

But Sam knew about it and Exner passed messages and sealed envelopes between the Sam and JFK.

This may or may not have had something to do with the various plots between the CIA and the mob to rub out Fidel.....

Two points.

Kennedy was held kind of rigid by the back brace he wore pretty much constantly in 1963.

There was a TV documentary that put together a sequence of all the motion picture footage and still pictures shot that day that we know of. Some of it is pretty amazing, not just the Z-film. Orville Nix's film is quite impressive.

One of the possibly best films of the shooting has disappeared. It was taken by Beverly Oliver, a/k/a "The Babushka Lady" who was directly in front of JFK's Lincoln when the head shot occurred. She was across the street from the colonnade where Abraham Zapruder stood. This film was seized by government agents and never returned. When the House Select Committee on Assassinations reopened the case in the late Seventies, the FBI claimed that film had either been somehow lost or "inadvertently" destroyed.

Mary Moorman took a still picture at the exact moment of the head shot from almost the same spot Oliver filmed. Analysis of her picture allegedly shows a man wearing what looks like a cop's uniform firing a rifle from the fence atop the Grassy Knoll. He's become known as "Badgeman". Two theories exist about him. There was a famed Corsican assassin named Lucien Sarti who always wore police uniforms for public hits because it enabled him to blend in with all the cops in the aftermath and get away. There's also a theory that Badgeman was Dallas cop, (and known KKK member), JD Tippitt. He was eliminated by either Oswald or one of the many Oswald döppelgangers immediately afterwards to silence him...much the same way Ruby silenced Oswald.

Look, just ask yourself “who had the most to gain if JFK was dead?”

Oliver Stone?

Interesting what you say about JD Tippit. I hadn’t heard that before.
