Posted on 02/14/2008 6:30:09 PM PST by Defendingliberty

Ok HELP HELPHELP…No Matter what we say, we are going to vote McCain…Hold you fire until I finish…I was toying with voting for Obama to stick it to the Florida Republican Party, but I have changed my mind…Granted we will have only 3 viable choices (stay home, Republican or Democrat) what will we do come Nov? ….Nobody is going to stay home…Pick the most palatable socialist? …It has to be McCain…for a campaign pin we need clothes pins with “Nose Holders for McCain”… Defendingliberty

I will vote for any conservative and work my heart out for them in the downstream races.

Yeah.

And who might that be? Thats actually in the race?

I'd like to know, 'cause there are three candidates in the race at this point and they all suck.

If McCain wins the nomination he will get my vote. Mrs. Bill Clinton or Mr. Hussein will not.

He won’t promote abortion or gay rights. He won’t raise taxes and he will work to hold the line on spending. He will not try another amnesty bill. He was hurt too badly the first time. He also won’t cut and run in Iraq.

If I believed any of that, I would support him.

A vote for anyone other than McCain or a non-vote is a vote for Hillobama... a hard truth to stomach, but the truth.

The party's future is not as important as the country's future and the future of conservatism. A deep mole RINO like McCain can do us a lot more damage than HillObama.

Huckabee is a twit. McCain is marginally better but when it is a choice between a twit and a twat? To hell with the GOP. I am sitting this one out.

I too will not be voting for McCain. I’ll vote for a real conservative and to hell with the GOP. I’ve been prostituting my principles by supporting that man in the White House for the last seven years, all the while hoping that some sanity would return to the party, but to no avail. I will not do it any longer. There comes a line a person can’t cross, and for me voting for McCain is it.”

The GOP had two true conservative candidates in Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter. Why didn’t they support them with their votes and their money?

Here's the deal. I've been putting in time by the trainload of hours on behalf of Republicans since 1993. I've pounded pavement by the light year.

This year I s'pect I'll be forced to vote for McCain. I'll be d**ned if I'll spend a nanosecond working on his behalf.

Now that may not bother McCain much. I'm sure he has legions of liberals and moderates who REALLY like him who can't wait to get out there to work for him.

Who knows? But, I'm a conservative first and chose to vote GOP only in so far as it promoted my values and principles. I'm not going to support a party or its candidate when they and he are nothing but "Democrat-Lite". Voting for that nasty old piece of work is something I cannot do.

There won’t be any notation in the record or history book that we held our noses. It will only list votes for McCain. That’s one list I’ll not put my name on. I’m not gonna be repeatedly stabbed in the back and then go out and vote for the guy who did it. I’ll write in or just vote down-ticket. I understand many conservatives will vote for McCain in the end, and I don’t begrudge them their act of fear. But a McCain victory in November will be the death knell of the conservative cause inside the Republican Party.

"I believe McCain loves his country more than the other two traitors in the Dem party, they lead a bunch of traitors those Dem's... and concerning that illegal alien stuff...hell come around..."

I'm sure you meant to say he'll come around, but you know...he's probably saying the same thing about all of us. And with the number of people who are planning to roll over and accept him as the GOP's nominee, I'd say McCain's thinking he can get us to change our minds and support him on amnesty too.

Disagree. A vote for whoever you vote for is a vote for that person and that person only.

Anyone else has zero chance of winning. Our next president will be either McCain or Hillobama. To disable one is to enable the other.

You might, I won't. With McCain, the past is prelude. If you like McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, McCain Lieberman (inseret the rest of the anti-McCain rant here), you'll LOVE howe he reaches across the aisle to let the leftists destroy this Republic.

In November, I will cast my vote for President for "None of the Above"!

I have two sons in the military. One in the US Marines another in the US Air Force. Please go to the polls November 4th and vote for McCain. It is time to unite.

Please do not stick my sons with an Obama Commander in Chief or a Hillary Commander in Chief.

a write in campaign is your right, of course, if you want to organize it, that’s your privilege.

I see it as a way of increasing the chances that Obama will be our next president. I can’t do that to the troops. They would much rather have McCain, and that is something I can do for them.

“...Furthermore, please stop with the Fear-mongering and Boogey-Man politics...”

You obviously know nothing about middle eastern mentality...

These people place women 3rd behind donkeys and goats, what do you think they will do when they see a woman as your President....???

Its not fear mongering politics, its reality ...
