I think we have to get on the McCain team HELP(Vanity)

Posted on 02/14/2008 6:30:09 PM PST by Defendingliberty

Ok HELP HELPHELP…No Matter what we say, we are going to vote McCain…Hold you fire until I finish…I was toying with voting for Obama to stick it to the Florida Republican Party, but I have changed my mind…Granted we will have only 3 viable choices (stay home, Republican or Democrat) what will we do come Nov? ….Nobody is going to stay home…Pick the most palatable socialist? …It has to be McCain…for a campaign pin we need clothes pins with “Nose Holders for McCain”… Defendingliberty

I don’t need to get over it. I am not a slave to the GOP; they’re supposed to be the servants, not the other way around! They must ~earn~ my vote..

I will not be bullied by my party into voting a golden child for President. I will vote for state office and leave President blank.

After all, McCain’s campaign has already said they don’t need the Conservative vote as much now that they have independents on their side.

McCain can suck wind.

but time has come to rally around the Person who will represent your party.

What party is that? The day he gets the nomination a bunch are leaving the Republican Party.

we are going to vote McCain

I assume that you and the mouse in your pocket can vote for whom ever you wish. Other than that you don't speak for we.

Not voting in the general election is a vote for the dems. Is is nice to want the perfect candidate, but it didn’t happen. Those who have standards so high that they “can’t vote for McCain”, need to realize they are essentially voting for the dem when they stay home.

Our vote is not for us only, it is for our country and we must make the best vote and obviously it is McCain. Sending message to the GOP is a wonderful sentiment, but the aftershock of that will last for decades if Obama or Hillary gets in and appoints a bunch of liberal Supremes, etc. Don’t stay at home. We must overwhelm the dems with our numbers. We need everyone to get out and vote. We need the highest GOP turnout in history.

I don’t agree with you at all.

We have plenty of time to organize a write-in
campaign. Our only challenge will be to choose
ONE single write-in candidate.

If you think this will be difficult I would
remind you of how confusing the primaries,
CACAses, delegates and super delegate
conflagration has been and the mockery of
candidates it has produced.

Romney would make a fine VP.

Yup, two left of center candidates on one ticket.

I’ll be buying a set for myself before November. I’ll just have to cash in the penny jar first.

“Nose Holders for McCain”

I prefer “holding his feet to the fire” conservatives for McCain.

It’s a long time between then and now.

But one thing I know.

I DO NOT want troop betraying and islamo-facism enabling democrats to have the white house.

Never forget, never forgive.

I will deny them victory as best I can when I vote.

Listen to Ann Coulter.

I'm voting for whichever rat gets the nomination.

Hillary is better than McCain. I didn't ask for this choice, it's what I'm given. Both will fail and put us in a terrible rut. Let the rats take the hit. It'll be 4 years and out for them.

Our "conservatives" in the house and senate will fight Hillary or Obama's socialism more than they will fight McCain's socialism.

He wants to close gitmo and bring those pukes into our courts like they are citizens. Tell them everything we have on them and how we got it too!

Screw McCain! I'll take either rat instead.

And why do you think McCain will keep his campaign promises to act like a conservative when he hasn't for the last twenty-four years? Better to have the enemy out front where we can see him(Obama or Hillary) than beside us or behind us (McCain) to stab us in the back as he's done for almost his entire political career.

Hate to tell you, dude, but McCain would turn out to be The Trojan Elephant to conservatism.

A vote for anyone other than McCain or a non-vote is a vote for Hillobama... a hard truth to stomach, but the truth.

I’ll support McCain he is conservative in all the ways that are important. He won’t promote abortion or gay rights. He won’t raise taxes and he will work to hold the line on spending. He will not try another amnesty bill. He was hurt too badly the first time. He also won’t cut and run in Iraq.
He will also support conservative judges. He may be a more high maintenance nominee but we can be thankful he does have some fire in his belly and that the days of playing kissie face with the Democrats is over.

Disagree. A vote for whoever you vote for is a vote for that person and that person only.
