All Christians sin, even Pastors....and Mitt. You are not the judge of this man. A Christian would speak to him in private if they had a concern with the word “stinking.”

I think you are expecting perfection from this man, and are more concerned with a performance as a “true” Christian than you are in his faith. It exposes you. Are you Mormon by chance?

It is not slander.

Slander:
1. defamation; calumny: rumors full of slander.
2. a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report: a slander against his good name.
3. Law. defamation by oral utterance rather than by writing, pictures, etc.
–verb (used with object)
4. to utter slander against; defame.
–verb (used without object)
5. to utter or circulate slander.
Yes, it is.

Thats what is taught, sorry.

Let me say this one more time, What you said, and worse intimated is not what is taught, I know, I'm a Mormon. How many Catholics are "Taught" the Sale of Indulgences, or taught how to run an inquisition? (My apologies to Catholics it was the easiest comparison) None.

And it is not Biblical, I know you want it to be but its not.

There is a slight problem with that, in my refutation, I quote the Bible, in your we have to take your word for it in abeyance of what the Bible teaches.

Lets hit it one more time, shall we?

*****************************************************************************

Do Mormons Believe Jesus and Satan are brothers?

That depends on what you mean by brothers, suffice it to say that is not a "Mormon" teaching you will hear stated in sunday school, but we believe the Bible, so consider the following scriptures:

Hebrews 12: 9
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
So God is the Father of Spirits...

2 Peter 2: 4
4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
So Satan was once an angel, and was cast out of heaven.

Hebrews 1:7
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
So angels have Spirits and can call God Father.

1 John 1:34
34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
So Satan was once an angel, Angels have a spirit, and God is the father of Spirits, also Jesus is "The Son of God" therefore, according tot he Bible, they are brothers. We believe the Bible, so.... we believe that Jesus and Satan can be called brothers just like everyone who believes the Bible.

What is misleading is that this is presented as a shocking belief when it is just Biblical.

One of the Twists of phraseology is to call Satan "God's Brother" which is a phrase from the occult, and thus Phrasing this question this way makes a belief which all who believe the bible to be the word of God, cannot deny to sound like we are part of the Occult, which is the point of the question. So, when did you stop beating your wife...

Fair Mormon addresses this same topic here.

*****************************************************************************

So either, you are not a Bible believer, or you believe the same thing, either way, it's just an unfair attack to put something like this.

You can whine all you want, but this is the logic and it comes from the Bible, and if you don't like it, that's fine, just don't lie about me and what I believe.

““And yet Mitt gave his votes to McCain.”

Well, that shows that Mitt at least isn’t vindictive (unlike McCain).”

Voted for Mitt in Fla, and would like to see him as VP candidate.

Good to see him put some oil on Huck the “snake oil salesman’s” continued bid..............

“Romney is a class act, I can only hope his supporters will listen to what he has to say.”

I think so too. I went from Fred to Romney and voted for him here in Florida.

I think Romney did what he had to do to support the party in the face of either Hillary or Obama. I do not think he is fond of McCain but is looking ahead. I also think that McCain is just too arrogant to offer the VP slot to Romney. Romney would outshine him too much, and maybe Romney would not want to be on McCain’s ticket anyway.

Huckabee shouldn’t have crossed the line with the “Jesus and the Devil are brothers” crap.

He shouldn't have crossed the whole "run for President" line either...

No, I am not a Mormon I’m a Missouri Synod Lutheran. An ordained pastor should not be justifying his sin. You are correct, I am not his judge anymore than YOU are mine or Preachin is Mitt Romney’s. Oh, and by the way, if you have a problem with my faith, why aren’t you speaking to me in private? Or does that just go for Evangelical Sinners?

You are correct. I erred, I sinned. I ask for your forgiveness. Now, what would a Missouri Synod Lutheran do? Will you forgive me?

We have all read your posts, we are Freepers and have all went to threads where people could produce evidence to the contrary of what you post. If you want to link, link to where both sides are presented.

Why?

What I believe is not up for a vote.

What my church believes is not up for a vote.

Do you think Satan has the "Right" to be heard in his beliefs on what God believes? Do you think it matters? Or would you rather just hear from God what God believes?

What anyone else has to say about what we believe is irrelevant, for they are not us and just don't know.

I guess next we get to put your gender up for a vote...

Here is where the advantages of not being tied to a religion come in...I don't have to forgive and I bring no shame to any religion. (I'm kidding of course - hopefully someone will chuckle and this silly discussion will go away, for the love of Buddha)

Interesting how every candidate who has dropped out has directly endorsed McCain or endorsed a candidate who, when he withdrew, endorsed McCain.......

Ladies & Gentlemen, the fix was in from the very beginning....

I was very clear on exactly why I oppose Romney’s run for POTUS and will continue to do so, should he try this nonsense again at some future time.

But I tell ya what. You get Romney to run for public office and win an election. Then have him govern or legislate for 8-12 years as a Reagan cosnervative, and I might vote for him. Otherwise, you’re just pissing in the wind.

Well, the takeover of the GOP by the wolves of the left is almost complete. All that is left now is for the judas goat to try to lead the sheep into the slaughter pen.

That goat is Huckabee, by the way.

It’s going to be interesting to see how many true shepherds there are left to stand up and tell the sheep that it wouldn’t be a good idea to go there...

Of course Romney endorses the presumptive nominee. Anything else would be profoundly disloyal to the party and by extension to the country.

To some people, anything Romney does is yet another reason to disparage the man, his politics, and his religion.

Slander is an untruthful oral (spoken) statement about a person that harms the person’s reputation or standing in the community.

Since this is an anonymous WRITTEN website you cannot be slandered.

Even it were not, I don’t think you can be slandered by WRITTEN truth.

Slander:

I am a Mormon. he is stating what Mormons believe, and what Mormons teach, therefore he is stating That I Believe and teach what he said. This is not true. What he said and the way he said it is not taught by the church. any more than orthodox Christians Teach that Jesus walked on the water because he was wearing special "Floating" shoes...

So Romney's suspension of his campaign has finally evolved to an official quitting. Just like Romney. You just never know quite where he stands form day to day.

I don't believe his delegates are obliged to go to McCain, so hopefully the pressure on McCain from the conservative wing of the party will continue. McCain already changed his senate vote on the torture bill yesterday, so it would be nice if Huckabee continues to provide an offical forum for conservatives to express their discontent: the ballot box.
