Way to go Mitt!

I hope he chooses him as VP, because I think McCain is going to win.

I'd like to see Mitt as McCain's VP as well. Hard to picture it, though...

“Mitt did what he could to limit the damage caused by the Huckster already.”

I think Romney did what he felt was best. I just hope that McCain picks someone really good to be his VP. I can’t stand McCAin but will vote Republican in November because the though of Hillary or Obama is just too bad for our country. Maybe McCain will last only four years anyway.

Payback for West Virginia-I love it!

Boy, didn't THAT show the true lack of character of Huckabee?

He has been saying, "Our surprise victory in West Virginia"

I will be so pleased to see him humiliated when he has to accept what most educated people have known for weeks...he is toast.

There isn’t a bigger admirer of president Reagan on this forum and I say, Romney is as articulate, charismatic and optimistic as Reagan and in those regards, as well as a few others, Romney can be compared to Reagan. Ignore the people who differ with you about that. They’re wrong.

It all does seem a little strange. Our primary process in my opinion, is what is screwed up. Too many big states early on and winner take all to boot. McCain should have not been our leader, but he is. We will have to live with him now.

I never dreamed that the Republican Establishment would solidify around McCain, but now I know that Beltway Establishment trumps principle every time, no matter which party is under discussion.

I think Mitt learned (the hard way) that he could not beat the Establishment. Maybe this gesture will soften some towards his future run.

>>>>>I can keep this up all day.

LMAO Whatever.

You can't cover someones long record in support of liberalism by altering the factual record. Romney's political epiphany on the eve of his run for POTUS was one of the most transparent acts of political expediency any politician has ever engaged in.

Btw, I don't hate Romney. I hate what Romney has stood for throughout his life. I hate liberalism and socialism too. RomneyCare is liberal socialism at its ugliest.

Watch the anti-Mormon responses to my post, then consider that each one of them believes some guy floated up out of cave and went to heaven.

Do we get to have our leaps of faith or not?

Can you have a leap of faith to a religion that denies anyone else’s ability to have a leap of faith to any other destination?

Surely you can, but it is hypocritical. That hypocrisy indicts the denier by the logic which G-d gave us.

Choose, and choose freely, that others may also choose. In the end G-d will show us who was right and wrong.

Good luck with that!

Well put, now for some fun: Mormons, the correct answer

I just get this feeling that fateful decisions are being made right now, from which there will be no turning back and will lead to our destruction.

I join you in this.

At least he didn’t give them to Huckabigot.

Agreed. We basically already have half-a-primary day. Why not got all the way and have one primary day?

Thank you.

Be prepared, however.

Your loyalty and admiration for Reagan is about to be attacked. Apparently President Reagan left the rights to his legacy to some FReepers and no one else knew.

I don’t know how many of Romney delegates are free or how many will actually go to McCain. Regardless, it is clear that McCain will be our nominee.

I rather doubt that McCain will choose Romney for VP as I don’t think he likes Romney at all. I do like Romney and think he would help McCain win in November.

As much as I dislike McCain I still will vote Republican in November. The thought of Hillary or Obama winning is just to terrible. I hope others thinking of not voting for McCain will reconsider. We could then work to defeat McCain in four years.
