No way does Romney even consider being VP, IMO. He is not addicted to the idea of being president.

As much as I detest McCain and will not be voting for him in November, I have the luxury of doing so because I don’t run for office. Anyone who runs for office needs the money the RNC contributes to their campaign and therefore must play along. In another forum, earlier today, another freeper said something that posters on this forum are already proving true - some freepers would have called Reagan a sellout in 1976. Romney is a realist who hopes to run again. Opposing the inevitable would not have accomplished a single thing.
I hope there is 0 chance of Romney being named VP. I’m a Romney backer, but I don’t want to see him as VP on a ticket I cannot support. There is no guarantee McCain will become ineligible to serve should he be elected, so the VP question is irrelevant to me.

If the Obama-nation is elected President, you will probably get death.

What was he supposed to do with his delegates?

There goes that brokered convention... But it probably lessens the chance of a McCain/Huckabee ticket.

Huckabee shouldnt have crossed the line with the Jesus and the Devil are brothers crap.
Why not, that's what Mormons believe.
To: Southerngl
Why would Romney want to be VP on a losing McCain ticket. That would just be dumb.
To: Robbin
Mitt gets to shaft Huckabee, finally!!!
Pay back is a bitch, Huck.

"Huckabee crossed the line a long time ago... Whenever he was asked about the success of his campaign and claimed divine providence as the reason. How folks are backing this guy is beyond me, let alone claiming hes a conservative while doing it."
Huckabee never "crossed" any lines. Huckabee just isn't ready for President. I could easily see Huckabee having a better chance at President, some other time. Romney could never become President.

Romney isn’t gonna get it. From what I heard most people involved in the campaigns and the candidates had a strong personal animus against Romney
