Fred Thompson, the one-time Republican presidential candidate, endorsed Sen. John McCain Friday, calling on the party to "close ranks" behind the presumed nominee

What? That Fred would endorse the eventual Republican nominee, which is what his statement says? What if the leader been Romney instead? Would you have also claimed 'told ya so'?
I’m going to bed. While I’m asleep, 40 anchor babies will be born to illegal immigrants at a cost of $2,500 per in Medicaid costs plus free diapers and formula.
In 5 years they will cost us $16,000 per child for education.
The dems don’t care, it’s future voters to keep them in power. The repubs don’t care, it’s cheap labor for their business constituency.
Fred back McCain, so this waste of my hard earned money is OK.
Remember when they never though McAmnesty would have a chance??
Was that back before they started counting votes?...... Since the vote counting begun Mc has done much better than I would have thought possible. Results speak louder than ifa’s coulda’s and woulda’s........
Too Old.
So let’s vote for the Soros backed Pubbie?
Dont be so happy about the situation...

Indeed.......must. buy. popcorn.
Looking for blame in all the wrong places. :)
Thething is for me anyway, McCain has no shot beating hillary in the general.
I completely get where you’re coming from because I certainly don’t want hillary or obama as CIC. I dont’ even want McCain as CIC because I don’t trust him no matter how much I respect his military service and I do respect it.
I honestly don’t believe Mccain has a shot at beating hillary in the general. Our GOP nominee sucks and has no chance of winning imo. I hear all the crap about dems voting for McCain because they won’t vote for hillary, or a female pres, but I don’t buy it.
You think they have time to remove it? Or can they remove it since he just suspended. We are TX too and spouse said to vote for Mitt anyway since this is the primary.
“Open your eyes. Fred, Mitt and Huck are all stalking horses for McCain.
Was Fred’s run in any way serious? Hell no! Was Mitt’s concession speech at all believable? He cares so much about conservatism and the country that he’s ceding it to traitor McCain? Pffft. And Huckabee’s a joke from the git go.”
Mitt didn’t have any choice, he had to drop out, it was mathematically impossible for him to win the nomination. McCain was able to steam roll his way through, thanks to the media and all the other candidates who refused to say anything negative about McCain. The only one who stood up to him was Mitt, and he was bashed for being negative.
Yeah - that drum beat in 2006 gave us Reid and Pelosi - yeah, THAT worked out well.
***Voting for the guy with an R in front of his name doesn’t work so well, just ask the republican party under aRINOld. If republicanism loses and conservatism wins, that’s fine with me; if republicanism wins and conservatism loses, it ain’t fine with me. Good luck with your RINO candidates.
You saw a TX ballot?
Who’s all on it?
I think there will still be a world of difference between those Obama/Hillary or McCain would put on the SCOTUS.
Something seems fishy to me.
Why would all of the voters, who were plenty angry, and fought so hard to stop the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill by calling their reps., etc., end up voting for McCain.
Something is just not quite right here.
No, let's let Hillary or Obama decide the next SCOTUS judges.
The "Soros-backed" thing is so very weak.
I’ve not checked recently, when was the final TX ballot posted?
Do Fred heads ever have humor or just take yourselves to serious!
Hattie: “Actually the Dems are more fair than us.”
On the issue of primaries, I believe they are. Isn’t that sad?
