Standing on your principles will certainly elect the bigger threat to the constitution — Hillary or Obama and either of them will certainly attempt to bury your principles.

He was there to help McCain win SC. Sad, so sad. Makes you almost give up on any of them.

You believed in someone and you even helped financially. I don’t see anything wrong with that. I understand the feeling, however. :D

Unfortunately, it's not going to get any better as the days go by.

Threats of rope and hanging against a candidate because of a political endorsement for someone in his own party.

Sheer childishness. :)

You’ve probably seen this already but I was unaware of this group until recently.

There should be plenty on the Bilderbergers on the net - they have been around for a very long time - and they are intent on ruling the world - a totalitarian One World Government. (Both Clinton's are members.)

here's a good start:

Nonsense . To suggest that Fred’s campaign was phony , is an inane assertion at best .

So be it. The folks who decided to back RINOs instead of conservatives should of thought about that months ago. So if the Dems get the WH, don’t blame the people who stayed true to their principles- blame those who backed the wrong horse.

I know, lol, so now its “grownup” to rally behind someone who hates you, and says that Hillary and Kerry would make good Presidents and CICs?

Not to mention someone who tells his populace that he can control the weather and the earths temperature?????????

Stunningly childish.

I'd posit that McCain is more of the conservative than you or many on FR want to believe. Too bad the facts, mainly the legislation he has co-authored, and his stated positions, and his actions do nothing to support that position.

But hey, who really care about the facts anymore right?

So what if he will destroy the conservative movement in the GOP?

So what if he will destroy the nation's culture and GOP itself by giving Amnesty to a bunch of Illegal Alien felons?

He's the nominee and we just have to get behind him!

I will not help him or you destroy the party of Reagan.

He will not get the vote of my family or myself.

Fed puts his party first. The people made their choice and it wasn’t Fred. He decided not to be a bitch about it.

My guess McCain is going to put another RINO for VP just to stick it to us. Maybe the elites have just conceded this election before it starts.

And I don’t expect perfection fromm anyone including a candidate/politician.

But it's okay to support a man who has betrayed us on practically everything. Okey dokey, then.

Fair weather? Forget you and the horse you rode in on!

I supported Thompson from March of last year, when I first heard of the draft movement until tonight. I spent all of my time away from work maintaining six blogs in support of his candidacy and defending it on forums like this one. I donated $500 of my hard-earned money to his campaign, and I would have donated more if I could have afforded it. I voted for him in my state’s GOP primary weeks after he had withdrawn from the race.

Now if that’s “fair weather” support, you can kiss my grits.

Jerk.
