Republican Party Passes Away

Washington - The Republican Party also known as the "GOP" passed away yesterday at the age of 154. Long regarded as the founding base for fiscal and social Conservatives, the party's life was cut short by its offspring with the naming of Senator John McCain as the new leader of a recently born effort called "The Consocialists", in an effort to distort and erase the true principles that were once clearly defined in the Republican Party platform.

A rolling over of the grave ceremony is expected to take place nationwide in memory of the Republican Party on November 4th. Expected to take part in the ceremony include such former members as Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Abraham Lincoln, John C. Fremont, Ulysses S. Grant, Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Warren G. Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Dwight D. Eisenhower among others.

Burial will take place at the Capitol Steps in Washington,D.C. on January 20th, 2009 with services being administered by the Democratic National Committee.

The ceremony will commence with a reading of the Oath of Office by Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama.

Donations are not necessary, if you wish to send flowers it is recommended you leave them at the grave personally as you will face a death tax after the Oath of Office is read.

Arrangements made by RINO/CINO and the North American Union Alliance.

I know obituaries seldom name the cause of death, but I think you should make an exception in this case.

GWBush wounded it but McCain shot the final bullets. New name “the moderate/independent/reach out/compromise/stand for nothing/no self respect/MSM worshiping” Party

...just a few years ago, people were talking about the death of the Democratic Party.

Amazing what a few years of miscalculation will do.

Nice to see that writing for the AP gave you some experience in writing realistic sounding news bits such as this.

Pretty sad if you think about it though, Doug. Here’s hoping McCain can balance out the ticket with someone who’s actually a conservative.

My hope is that we will again be sayimg the same things about the Democrats in a few years to come, but for now I am willing to pass through the fire to remove the dross from the Party.

As the Republican Party goes, so goes America. Get ready for socialism. Get ready for the government telling to you recycle, turn down your thermostat, educating your kids with a pro-gay, tree hugging, secular humanist propaganda program, caving in to terrorists, and a litany of other evils. We are done for. The Republican “leaders” were a bunch of spineless weasels and they let us all down. George W. Bush was touted as the new Reagan. What a disappointment he turned out to be.

You guys are getting more and more dramatic.

Seriously, what is up with all these whiny, "it's all over" vanities? I don't know who taught you folks that quitting is ok, but I would suggest you stop listening to them.

Yeah, I'm funny like that. The crazier McCain gets, the more dramatic I become.

I think the Straight Talk Express will deliver us another Consocialist to the ticket. It is over. How do I know this? Take a look at the rejection of Thompson, Hunter, and Tancredo. I never looked at Romney has a true textbook Conservative Republican..but he is pretty damn close.
