Fox news just reported that Mark Halprin [sic], from Time Magazine, has information that Mitt Romney will be ending his campaign sometime today.
I sort of expected this, but still am disappointed nonetheless. Still doesnt mean Im voting for McCrazy or *uckabee though.
Here is a parody of a song Brokenheartsville my husband and I sang last night...
Heres to the past,
The party can kiss my glass
I hope theyre happy with him
Heres to McCain who wrecked my world
The Senator who did me in
I think the devil wrote the McCain Fiengold Bill
I watched my party drive away over the hill
Not against their will
Ive got a vote to kill
down in Brokenheartsville
I have to salute you for all the truth you spread about Willard.
I can’t help but enjoy this moment. Almost as good as when Rudy quit.
At least this is a classy move, if it happens.
Cannot expect that from Huckster or Pauline as they have no class whatsoever.
And McLame is just a liberal. Nuff said.
Yep, I was thinking that myself. Maybe they’ll call it the “National Suicide Socialist Collective”. I don’t know how I’ll vote in November, except that it won’t be for McCain, Hillary or Obama. The various media folks want McCain and I think it’s because they have some very powerful dirt on him which they are witholding until after he’s secured the nomination.
Interview with Halperin on FoxNews right now!
(It makes as much sense as when people said it about Fred Thompson, after all.)
CPAC schedule today
Governor Mitt Romney - 12:30 PM EST
For a businessman, it sure took him a long time to digest the numbers ...
I guess he wants to save all those millions of dollars for something better, though I can’t think of anything better right now than defeating John McCain.
I’ll vote for John McCain if he’s the GOP nominee in November.
But I think of it like this: I’m not voting for McCain so much as I’m voting against Clinton or Obama.
Any volunteer effort (on my part) will be spent working on lower-tier races here in Minnesota.
GOP sources: Romney to suspend campaign
From John King
CNN(CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will suspend his bid for the Republican presidential nomination, GOP sources tell CNN.
Generally, when a presidential candidate "suspends" a campaign, he may keep any delegates he has won up to that point. If the candidate "drops out," he may only keep district-level delegates he had won and he would forfeit any statewide delegates won.
Lets hope so. The pro-abortion Giuliani is gone and now the Romney Death Watch is just about over. The culture of death should never be part of the GOP agenda.
This would leave conservatives with only two bad choices. LOL
Oh, Geez! LOL!
Neither am I.
Short of an act of God, I'm afraid you are right. And now that McCain has absolutely no reason to capitulate in any way to conservatives--I wouldn't be surprised if he suddenly has better things to do than attend the CPAC convention--perhaps he'll schedule an ear and nose hair trim instead.
Oh, well, at least I can pull the lever for Fred in Wisconsin in the primary like I wanted to.
Actually, if this is true, I will support Ron Paul!
Please don’t say that again, I’m trying to keep my lunch in my stomach where it belongs.
