He was against the prescription drug expansion entitlement.

I give him credit for that. I still would like to know his reasoning. McCain has railed against earmarks. However, the vastness of his anti-conservativism is too much to give him support.

After Alito had been nominated McCain was very vocal in his support. He supported Alito in the Senate and in public.

Disagreements may continue.

Gee, Johnny, ya THINK?! That's big of him. Snort.

I will seek the counsel of my “fellow” conservatives, but pretty much says he will stick to his guns unless they can make their case.

Translation: Better put some ice on that...

Yes, all other dislikes about McCain aside, this is why he will be sliced, diced and pureed as the nominee. Wait until the debates start up. Stalking horse to the slaughter house.

I wonder if he is going to use Romney in his cabinet ???

No one with any principle is going to want a seat in that man's Cabinet.

After Alito had been nominated McCain was very vocal in his support

He knew dang well he couldn't afford to vote against him, while setting up a POTUS run. His private statements about him having been seeing the light day recently.
