Aside from any policy and differences in principles- I can’t stand this man’s tone and he is incapable of giving a speech. If this is the guy that goes up against- say- Obama- he’ll get slaughtered.
God help us.

Said hes going to make the tax cuts permanent. Does anyone believe him?If anyone does, they're the same people still waiting for BJ Clinton's promised middle-class tax cut.

He bussed in his own supporters to turn it into a Queeg pep rally. Did anyone happen to spot Leni Riefenstahl filming the festivities by chance?

He just LIED and said he supported the tax cuts. When he says he's conservative on anything, it's almost always a lie.
That's not entirely true. He has been conservative on spending issues -- especially earmark abuse. He voted against the tax cuts and for the wrong reasons to begin with, but since then he has fought for making them permanent. He was against the prescription drug expansion entitlement. Some of the things he opposed W on were the right items. He has a lot of baggage and I am extremely disappointed that it appears the GOP decided this is the best we can do, but he is right more often than a broken clock.
