The only way Romney can stay in the race is if he takes CA?

Taking CA doesn't mean much, though, because it's not going to be more than a +30 delegate lead for Romney in CA. +30 is just a nothing result in the context of the total delegates he needs to get to the nomination.

“Haley is cautioning conservatives to tow the line with whoever the nominee is. He’s in for a rude awakening if McCain is nominated.”

...yes and Haley is one of the smart guys...most of these establishment guys don’t know - HAVE NO IDEA - what is going to hit them....they think because Levin and Rush will eventually come on board with anti Dem stuff, conservatives will vote McCain........only 2 out of about 25 conservatives I know in my hometown will vote for McCain.
THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE GOP is going to be in shoch in November.

You’re badly mistaken. We here in the Intermountain West live in the reddest of the red states. Romney has done phenomenonally were here. The more conservative the state, the better Romney has done.

“Insult Huckabee if you must, but it is not in your/our best interest for you to insult the very core of Red State America.”

Is that some kind of threat? You don’t have the power to make it. All bombast, signifying nothing. Your part of the Pub Party has ruined it by wanting more and more and more from it. To the point that some are rejecting your religious and social single issue zealotry out of hand, allowing a McCain to emerge as our RINO liberal candidate, and totally ignoring the concerns of the other two legs of the Pub Party, the foreign relations wing, and the economic wing. You wanted to hog it all to yourselves, and now we are in a real pickle because of it.

And, I might add, the other religions that comprise our Party, such as Catholics, Lutherans, and Jews, etc. You want them pushed out of the picture too. Only the Evangelical point of view will do. Well, you’ve ruined it for us all. I will blame you guys if this primary turns out as it looks like inevitably it will. Thanks a whole bunch.

Romeny really is starting to fade and I don’t see him hanging on much longer. He has spent so much of his own money and it just isn’t working. And Yes I liked Romeny, but there has to be a point where he just hangs it up.

That post is bunk and the second time you posted it. Tonights’ vote doesn’t tell you how they will go in November. If it did none of the Republicans would get over 40% in any state.

Because of NY, NJ and CT.

He was expected to win those easily, and a lot more, and he isn’t looking good at all on the rest.

McCain was supposed to wrap it up tonight, now he’s in a 3 way race.

I’ve had my own personal experiences with the South. You really don’t want to know.

Huckabee is the useful idiot.

Huckabee is spewing his usual class rhetoric, once again. “I’m just a poor boy who doesn’t know what it is to start from the top”. Gag me.

Lot’s of bad weather in the South right now.

My Mom just called, she lives in Eagan. She was elected a delegate tonight for Romney. In her precinct, Ron Paul came out on top with Romney in second.

I have thought about this constantly for days. What will I do if McCain is the nominee? I have come to the same conclusion you have. Fighting terror and judges are two of my most important issues along with abortion. At this point I loathe McCain for so many reasons I don’t have the energy to post but we all know them.

At the end of the day he has been steady on life and I think we can stop the immigration issue if it ever attempts to raise its ugly head again. We shall see.

I just saw the headlines from 11/12/2008, and you’re never going to believe it - It’s Limbaugh-Santorum from the Joe Blow Party in a 36 state squeaker!
