A Clarion Call for the Church to press in with Fasting and prayer! Rasmussen: Mitt 30%, McCain 30%

God cares about this nation and does care about this election! How much do we??? After all the blogging and talking,, will you be willing to press in with prayer and fasting??

Sometimes it seems there is nothing we can do than blog and complain! But,, that is really not true for the Christian! It is a lie from the devil formed in the pit of hell!

Ezekiel 22:30 "I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one."

God can do a great deal with just a little!! He searches for just "a man!" Nobody likes to fast! If it were easy, everybody would do it! Perhaps you can give up just one meal! Do what you can! Pray like you mean it! Spend an hour with God every day. Pray into the night! Stay up all night and pray or just commit to meeting God daily with a broken heart!!

Prayer is simple! Open your mouth and talk to God and then you are praying! Enter His gates with thanksgiving! Thank Him for all the great things He has done! It doesn't matter how you feel,, and you aren't being a hypocrite if you don't feel thankful! You are acting in Faith! Besides,, prayer isn't just about you! It is about Him!!!

2Ch 7:14 — "IF my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; THEN will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Talk to God! After you have thanked Him. Give Him some praise! Paul's praise brought down the prison walls! How do I praise Him?? Speak good things about Him! It's easy!! State that His name is above every other name! Tell Him what a good God he is!

Then,, be honest about yourself! Confess your sin! Talk to Him! Ask Him to heal this land! Pray for this election, our courts, our leaders!

Do you want to really be bold??! Want to really step out and say something crazy?? Proclaim things!!

Mark 11:23, "Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him."

Proclaim righteousness returns to our courts! Proclaim the the name of Jesus will be lifted up again in our congress! Speak to our schools that they will return to the foundation on which they were built! And speak to this election! That the more righteous man win!! Get radical in prayer!! Speak that our would so return to the Bible that all the nations of the earth would have to confess "Yes,, they left their God, but look! They have returned!! American is again a Christian nation!"

Pray that liars, thieves and deceivers will be exposed! Pray that the news media will report the truth!

God spoke,, and formed the heavens and earth! The Bible says our words also have the power of life and death!! Speak to the mountain! You say you did and it's still there??? Don't quit! It was years before Joshua and Caleb entered the Promise Land! But,, THEY DID!!!

I do not pretend to understand everything about God! Regardless of the outcome of Super Tuesday, regardless of the outcome of our general election, I do know this,,, God is not a liar and His Word is true!!! Nor do I believe God is finished with this nation! Ultimately, we have arrived here at this place because the church fell asleep! I blame congress for lots of things as well,,, but in all truth,, the blame is on the church doorstep,, and at in own homes. It all begins and it all ends in the prayer closet!

So,, will you join me in prayer and fasting over the next few days!!?? Not just for this election,, but for this nation,, that it may endure!!

Homosexuality was flourishing in Massachusetts before Mitt reached puberty, for land sakes!

What was he supposed to do?

Arrest them all???

Close the gay bars??

What did GOVERNOR Huckabee do?

When the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decided that homosexuals could marry, Mitt was outraged, but what could he do? Send the State Police to arrest the stinking judges?

Mitt tried to mount legislation to forbid “Gay Marriage”. The Mass legislature never let it see the light of day.

So Mitt encouraged the people to start a grass roots referendum against gay marriage.

Unfortunately, after getting all the signatures needed to put a Marriage Law on the general election ballot that would forbid gay marriage, the Mass state legislature had to vote on whether to allow it on the ballot.

The STINKING COWARDS in the Mass state legislature would not even let the referendum come up for a vote!!!! They were afraid the people would meet them with pitchforks and buckets of tar and feathers!

The referendum languished until it reached the expiration date. If the people want to try again, they have to start from SQUARE ONE with all the petitions and signatures.

The people of the Commonwealth were denied their opportunity to vote on the law in the voting booth.

You want to blame this on Mitt Romney.

Go ahead. You’ll be wrong, but don’t let that stop you.

But you are sadly mistaken if you think Mitt let homosexuality “flourish” on his watch. It was flourishing long, long, LONG before that.

So far, Mitt’s trial in this forum has been at kangaroo court with hearsay and mischaracterizations ALL OVER THE PLACE.

I voted for Duncan Hunter, because he is a Christian brother and has impeccable credentials.

He disappointed me WAY MORE than ANYTHING Mitt Romney ever did or didn’t do when he gave his support to Huckabee.

He should have kept his pie-hole SHUT until the convention.

Now I regret my vote for him and wish I had voted for Mitt instead.

Mitt is the ONLY candidate with any sense of decency, and decorum, or any presence or vision beyond just becoming president.

He’s the only one who seems capable of self-examination and admitting he’s wrong when he’s wrong.

He seems to be the only one who can even articulate a vision beyond, “We’ll show them!”

I’ll take a guy like Mitt over any of the snake oil salesmen running for president in this cycle.

Mitt’s Badge Company

It’s time for the Friday evening presidential campaign aide dump. This time it’s Mitt Romney’s guy quitting because...

A published report today says Garrity used fake badges so he and Romney’s advance staff could get into closed areas and, at least once, avoid a highway toll.

But a spokeswoman for the law firm retained by Garrity says the campaign staff did not have badges, but a (quote) “round metal disc with the seal of the governor’s office.”

The AP goes on....

Garrity was already on leave from the campaign for allegedly impersonating a law enforcement officer in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

What else could a “round metal disc witht the seal of the governor’s office” be? An ashtray? A bad frisbee? The Newshole guesses the law enforcement shake-down of this Romney aide went something like this.

Phony “Varmint” Hunter

Back when he was liberal, Romney supported the Brady Bill, assault weapons bans and Massachusetts’ very strict gun control law. Now that he’s running as a conservative Republican, Romney has claimed that the NRA endorsed him in previous campaigns. (Oops — that was easily proven to be a lie. His Democratic opponent actually had a better NRA rating.)

He also claimed he was a “lifelong hunter”, though he didn’t own a gun, has never had a hunting license and had only joined the NRA in August 2006 — as a “Lifetime Member” — just about exactly the moment he started campaigning for President.

When pressed on that, his “lifelong hunting” turned out to be a total of two hunts — one as a teenager, hunting rabbits with his cousin in Idaho, and one just about the time he started running for president, chasing fenced-in quail at a Republican fundraising event.

His explanation was even funnier — “I’m not a BIG-GAME hunter. I’ve made that very clear,” he said. “I’ve always been a rodent and rabbit hunter. Small varmints, if you will. I began when I was 15 or so and I have hunted those kinds of varmints since then. More than two times.”

Illegally Impersonating Police Officers

The most bizarre scandal of Romney’s campaign involves Jay Garrity, Mitt’s director of operations (basically, his right-hand man.) Garrity resigned from the campaign after several allegations that he claimed to be a policeman, and used that authority to intimidate people.

In one case, Garrity pulled over a New York Times reporter, ran his plates and ordered him to stop following the campaign caravan. In another, he allegedly called a plumbing company to complain about one of their employees, whose driving upset him, and identified himself as “Trooper Garrity of the Massachusetts State Police.” Garrity denied that allegation, but he was cited by Boston police in 2004 for having police equipment — including flashing lights — in his Crown Victoria sedan without authorization. The phone call was recorded because an answering service actually fielded the call, which the person who called himself “Trooper Garrity” apparently didn’t notice.

Despite his resignation, Garrity remains under investigation in two states for impersonation of police.

Well, it gets worse. According to three different anonymous sources, one who works for the Romney campaign, Garrity made up fake police badges — bright silver plates with the seal of Massachusetts on them — and gave them to several other staffers, who used them to order reporters and other people out of events, get past security guards, and avoid paying highway tolls. In fact, Garrity has been handing out badges since Romney was governor of Massachusetts.

So this was not just one staffer’s personal fetish. Sources named at least two other Romney staffers who used the badges — Mark Glanville and William Ritter. “They knew the badges were fake and probably illegal,” the campaign source said. In fact, Garrity was Romney’s right-hand man and rarely left his side. It’s hard to believe that Mitt Romney himself did not notice the fact that Garrity was constantly flashing a police badge as they blew through security into various events. The Romney campaign has not commented on whether Mitt Romney knew about the badges.

Using fake badges is, of course, illegal.

Flat-Out Lies

In this campaign, Romney has simply lied a number of times while trying to reinvent himself. For example:

— “I have a gun of my own.”
(Not true. He was talking about a gun one of his grown sons own.)

— “I’ve been a hunter pretty much my entire life.”
(He hunted once at 15, and a second time in his late 50s.)

— “I told you what my position was, and what I, what I did as governor; the fact that I received the endorsement of the NRA.”
(No - and his Democratic opponent actually had a higher NRA rating)

— “I saw my father march with Martin Luther King.”
(No, they never marched together. They were both in Michigan at the same time once, but Mitt was in France on his mission.)

— “My father and I marched with Martin Luther King Jr. through the streets of Detroit.”
(even more false...)

This last lie was the funnest because of all the waffling that Romney did trying to explain it. After a Boston newspaper showed that they couldn’t have marched together, Mitt’s spokesman said that “George W. Romney and Martin Luther King Jr. marched together in June, 1963 — although possibly not on the same day or in the same city.” And Mitt then explained “I’ve tried to be as accurate as I can be. If you look at the literature or look at the dictionary, the term ‘saw’ includes being aware of — in the sense I’ve described. I’m an English literature major as well. When we say I saw the Patriots win the World Series, it doesn’t necessarily mean you were there — excuse me, the Super Bowl. I saw my dad become president of American Motors. Did that mean you were there for the ceremony? No, it’s a figure of speech.”
