MIAMI - Sen. John McCain won a breakthrough triumph in the Florida Republican primary Tuesday night, edging past former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and seizing precious campaign momentum for next week's string of contests across 21 states.
"It shows one thing: I'm the conservative leader who can unite the party," the Arizona senator said in a brief interview with The Associated Press. "It's a very significant boost, but I think we've got a tough week ahead and a lot of states to come."
The victory was worth 57 national convention delegates for McCain, a winner-take-all's haul and the largest single prize to date in the race.
Rudy Giuliani was in third place, his best showing of the campaign but possibly not good enough to warrant continuing.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee trailed but told supporters he would forge on.
Regarding Judges McCain blocked bush’s judges.
I can now look forward to millions of illeagals who cannot speak English, look forward to my taxes being raised, look forward to going ton a few wars and maybe my kids getting sent to fight look forward to gays getting married because they think that two men poking each other is naormal , natural then they should be married, look forward to more liberal looney left judges
great what a future just can’t wait
why why why can’t we have 5 questions asked on the issues before people are allowed to vote.
hispanics and the old senile went to Mc Cain with a few dems and independants who registered for our party.
just great
You better bring two. I will never vote for McCain.
It obvious that you are one of those mind numbed robots the DBM talks about. All Rush all the time in good times or bad you will follow him anywhere. Enjoy the trip. I will think for myself thank you.
Why did the AP leave out the 'sarc tag'?
Who did you think, instead? Rudy?
I doubt that Mitt's socialized health care and tens of billions of dollars of subsidies to failing industries would have been effective.
We are in deep, deep s***.
We’re doomed! WE’RE ALL DOOMED! What a bunch of whiners! I hate this too but we all sound like a bunch of cry babies. We are a great nation and seem to have fallen asleep. McLaim, Shillary or Olama will hurt us, yes, but they will not destroy us and we will right this ship. Times are going to s*ck for a while so get ready, but we will make it through this. Remember Carter? Express yourself but please quit whining. Just my observsation, let me have it if you must.
About supporting our conservative Senators, a good way of knowing who really is conservative is to look at their immigration record. This is how you know who supports the national good versus the paid mistresses of the special interests.
PS: I hope Lindsey Graham gets kicked out on his arse.
People seem to forget the gang of fourteen!
Congratulations to Senator McCain, a good man and a great Patriot. When the going was tough in the war on terror and when it was so unpopular for many to support the war, Senator McCain said “ I would lose an election than lose a war”, now those are the words of a Patriot and a Leader.

Welcome aboard plant. Every post you made to this thread has been about how sunk the Republican party is.
Wonder what one would find if they reviewed your history of posts?
Hmmm
Agreed. Romney would destroy Hillary, and the Dems and MSM see it.
But the reason I'll stay home in November if McCain is the nominee is that he is an enemy of freedom every bit as much as the Democrats.
The winner of FL polling goes to Zogby. While other pollster were claiming the FL priamry to be too close to call, Zogby had its final tracking poll to be 35-31 in McCain’s favor. Congrats to Zogby.
Rush is right.
I guess you could look at it that way! LOL!
I guess the googly-eyed one is Guiliani!
