I don’t know where the conservatives were. They weren’t running for President.

I’m sick and tired of Freepers blaming ME for Mitt Romney being the conservative choice. we choose from the people who actually step up and run for office. Some people think that supporters here PICKED the candidates and put them up.

Before Thompson entered the race, Romney was the only viable candidate, but I was hopeful that others like Gilmore or Hunter would make themselves known, or maybe even another guy.

But Thompson became the great conservative hope, which was fine, because he was pretty conservative (I’ve said many times that I considered him back in 2006, but figured the true-blue-conservatives of FR would never go for him because he wasn’t pure enough).

I’m watching results, and the scary thing is that Clinton got more votes than McCain, even when Floria’s democratic primary didn’t even count.

WHAT is sooooo great about being endorsed by Giuliani?!?!?!?!

It means McCain will have a commanding lead in a ton of 2/5 states and will spend time and money being Romney's shadow. Romney is going to have to spend 10s of millions more of his fortune and it will likely be ultimately for nothing.

During the next debate, Romney MUST call McCain on the lies he’s told the past few days about his record. Short of that McCain will continue his momentum especially if Rudy backs him.

Romney has to go NUCLEAR on the immigration issue. That's the only thing that can turn this thing around at this point. He needs to NAIL McCain to the failed amnesty bill and drive this point him consistently in the debate and in his advertising. This can't be a tepid response, Romney needs to spell things out forcefully and repeatedly regarding immigration. Otherwise, he will lose on 2/5 and the country will lose in November.

In a couple days, we are going to learn how much Mitt gave to his campaign. If the number is high, it will generate negative press.

Gleefully Matthews is saying the conservatives who hate GWB voted 3 to 1 for the maverick. He has the moderates sewn up and the voters in Florida thought long and hard before voting.

Russert earlier said all the platitudes McCain had for the other nominees were well thought out, especially the one praising Huckabee. It may be a code for him to continue in this race to help him defeat Romney and possibly have run as VP on his ticket to get the Southern Baptists. They're forecasting Nancy Reagan may come out and endorse McShame.

Uh oh, Hillary is due up next on MSNBC. Her spin won't work because those who decided within the last few days voted for Obama, says Russert.

“I think it’s just that the liberal mainstream media has too much power to dupe the government school educated public.

That’s how a liberal/marxist, pro-Amnesty, statist like McCain can win.”

That’s pretty much it in a nutshell! (Not to mention voter fraud!)

Yes. We’re in trouble. The MSM has relentlessly promoted John McCain.

John McCain is too stupid to be POTUS and so is Hillary. Heck, maybe that’s the whole point. Hillary and McCain are very similar. Ego, kind of dumb and life-long politicians.

You know, this may sound undemocratic, but people who vote for someone because...

1. They have the same skin color as they do, or...
2. Are the same sex that they are or...
3. Are as old as they are or...
4. Are the same religion that they are or...
5. Served in the military because THEY did or...
6. Anything else except “they’ll do the best job for the country”

don’t deserve the right to vote.

LOL. He obstructed conservative judges with the Gang of 14. Judge Robert Bork, endorsed Romney. Please don’t insult the intelligence of the people on this forum.

McCain is a disaster.

This scenario will not happen. It is over guys, McCain is the nominee and most probably Huckabee will be his VP.

Propaganda works best on young impressionable minds.

Ever wonder where the pampered and spoiled offspring of the WWII generation ended up?

Universities and teachers colleges. We reap what is sown.

Obama can only win in states with large black populations

Like Iowa, you mean.

Cheers!

We are electing nutty people for very important positions by very stupid voters.

What is that line from "Animal House"?

Something like? - "Son, lazy, fat and stupid is no way to go through life"
