Didn’t see that, but he was great in The Brothers Grimm. I may have been one of the four people who saw that movie, but it’s worth a look.

Ledger was a good actor with a promising future. I loved him as Mel Gibson’s eldest son in The Patriot. RIP Heith.

Sad.
Ledger was good actor.
(I actually enjoyed him in Lords of Dogtown.)

I totally agree. The mods should give a stern warning to any tasteless jokes.
He was done with filming the Joker, so the movie will still be completed with him in it. But still...watching it isn’t going to quite be the same.

I liked him in the Patriot, disliked the idea of him being in Brokeback, but this is still very shocking news. I think it’s definite that he was either completely done with what he needed to do for The Dark Knight. I doubt if it’ll effect the picture. Maybe they needed him for reshoots or loops or something, but they’ll obviously have to get by with what they have now.

Who?
I was thinking the same thing and that the over/under on how many posts it would take to see that response would be 5. I should have taken the under.

I was surprised, but I’ve seen most of what he’s done. Ned Kelly was another I really enjoyed, Brothers Grimm and yes, I’ve seen “10 Things I Hate About You” at least a dozen times.
He was handsome and had tremendous potential. And out there, there’s a little girl who’s finding out her Daddy’s dead.

Too bad. The buzz on the Joker is great. We’ll see this summer. You don’t have to worry about the “forever” part anymore.
To: inkling
I just cant believe how sad I am about this.
WOW.
Last thing I expected today.

Whatever. All I've seen is pictures with him in a cowboy hat and it had the word "mountain" in the title. I had so little interest in the movie that I never bothered to learn enough about it to make the distinction between a cowboy and a sheepherder.
My apologies to cowboys if they were offended.
