The gay cowboy flick was good... you just have to get over the whole 2 guy thing.

I only know his Patriot character,
Gabriel Martin, for which he was perfect. Very sad that a two-year-old girl has lost her father.

>>now they keep saying he was found naked in his bedroom
reminds me of Marilyn<<
Whoa!
It does sound like it!!!

Check this out....
“The 28-year-old actor, who had reportedly been ill with pneumonia, had an appointment for a massage at the apartment, which is believed to be his home in Soho in Manhattan.”
This is from the Age in Australia. He probably died of respiratory arrest. How sad.

Well all of the insanity wasn’t just with the crowd outside Ledger’s building last night. PerezHilton has up that Fred Phelps and the his Wesboro Baptist Band of Loons is now chiming in and they are planning on picketing Ledgers’ funeral because ‘G-D hates f#gs.’ I would guess that Mr. Ledger will be laid to rest in his native Australia...hopefully the the Phelps’ congregation won’t up put up with in the Land Down Under.

It's been a long time for me, too. I went to take a peek a couple of months ago, and they were gone.

ah Geez. Lunacy. I hope they go there and the Austrialians handle them their way, which might just be what it takes to stop them!

No, I don't have to get over "the two guy thing". I don't have to compromise my morals and my beliefs. The very fact that this was the subject matter of the film makes it a bad movie in my book no matter how you try to spin it.
You go ahead and "get over it" if you want to, but filth is filth and that doesn't change because of good cinematography or acting.

Perez just put it up in the last 40 minutes or so...and even at this early hour, he has over 300 comments posted. Interestingly, many PH readers are getting schooled as to what Phelps has been doing all along (protesting at our service member's funerals). Many are incensed (didn't know about it) now that they know.
I agree w/you...some Aussie justice would be good.
The Ledger family has also issued a statement (nothing out of the ordinary)...and the autopsy will be done today in NYC.

If you go back and read my posts I have shown great respect for Heath Ledger who I feel was an excellent actor. My discussion was about the content of
one movie he was in that I refused to see based on its content.
I can respect the person without having to compromise on my morals.

Did you think The Godfather glorified the Mafia?
Yes, which is why I never liked those movies.
Lolita glorified pedophillia?
Probably. I'll never know for sure because I won't watch a movie about pedophilia in the first place.

I was talking about the Lolita the novel. But the The Godfather II is one of the most moral films ever made.

They just reported on Headline news, that a dollar bill was found in his apartment, rolled, with a white powdery substance inside. I hope that isn’t true. He always seemed to be so separated from the Hollywood scene of drugs and partying.

I understand, it makes you uncofortable... it is still a reality in life, no matter how much you want it to go away.

You don't get it, and I can see that you don't
want to get it. It doesn't make me uncomfortable. It might make me nauseous, but that's another matter. I don't care if you think it's a reality of life, that's the position you have decided on. Not me. It is a lifestyle choice that is entirely incompatible with my personal religious beliefs, and therefore, I will never accept it as "normal" or anything else. I don't hate people who choose that path. I believe that all people have value and worth in God's eyes and that there is redemption from all sin through the shed blood of Jesus.
It also doesn't matter if you think I want it to go away or not, because there will come a day when it will go away, and neither you nor I will have any say one way or the other about it.
At this point I have said all I care to say on the subject, especially to someone who just seems to want to get a reaction from someone. Hope you've had your fun. I'm done on the subject.
