We forget those things and go after him on issues he cannot fight without a Congress to back him up. We re-elected his enemies several times in Congress. People refused to believe we never had a conservative majority in the House or Senate. Sure, the Repubs had a numerical advantage, but without RINOS, they didn't even have that. To the day I die, I will hate Jumpin Jim Jeffords.

You can imagine the fun they're having there repeating what God whispered in their ears....that Fred will endorse the liberal McQueeg. They should stick to more scientifically precise terms.
That way, when canine whispers in their ear, they will know it is a dog, and not dyslexically confuse dog with God.

Most were in Phoenix AZ and Grants Pass Or all paid to the church and all depended heavily on the church to make ends meet.In snowflake Az if you don't belong to the morman church work is very hard to come by. I feel the way you do concerning their family values and Christains in Utah are very Conservative comparatively

Romney governed Mass much more conservatively than McCain has performed in the senate.
Really? Last time I checked, McCain had a sterling pro-life record and did not favor socialized medicine. Flip Romney's conversion of convenience on abortion and his implementation of a coercive state-sponsored medical system are the hallmarks of a socialist opportunist, not a conservative.

I think they understand, but don’t want to actually think about it. That’s why the same people who see a poll and say “Well tomorrow will be better” when it’s bad for their candidate, will point to some poll over a month old to repeatedly claim that it represents the current state of affairs if it sounds bad for some candidate they hate.

“And Michigan’s—which won’t be easy to win—won’t be enough to offset the losses he’s going to sustain in the South.”
You make no sense. I think you bias is clouding your judgement. Also Hillary is really going to piss off the black vote. If any body sits this out it could be them. That said Romney needs to be careful picking a VP.

Why does everyone assume the nominee will be Hillary? Just askin’.
How do things change if it’s Romney vs Obama?
To: Sunnyflorida
What do you mean by elite?I think he means polished and educated and successful. Somewhere along the line, many social conservatives decided a President needs to be a plain-talkin' hick who thinks science and intellectualism is just the devil's bidness...

Even someone like Giuliani who is an abortion supporter would nominate judges that would overturn Roe because of his position on judicial activism. The ones who scare the heck out of me are the ones who would put a Souter or a Ginsburg on the Court.
That's exactly how I feel. McCain IMO is more likely to screw up with judges than Rudy. And with tax cuts, and with "torture" of terrorists, and with immigration.

Just think what kind of nominees we'd get out of John McCain.

The message of these primary elections is that "conservatism" is a dying force IN THE GOP, and is nonexistent on the other side.Amen. Very discouraging when you think how many Americans have lost their lives fighting for our way of life and freedom, because of our Constitution and the work of our forefathers. Pray for our country.

In truth, Romney desserted the convention...Really? He made of the entire convention a dessert?
That's a lot of whipping creme and Maraschino cherries!

It was not socialized medicine. It was private insurance.
Please explain to me the difference of a state requiring you to have auto insurance or health insurance?

Don't bet the farm on it. The Black vote has gone 90%+ Democrat in every national election as far back as I've been alive.
The Democrats will do a much worse hatchet job on Flip Romney than the Republicans were able to do on John Kerry. Much worse. And Flip's got just as much material. He's our John Kerry, except without the purple hearts.

Man, I just noticed that Fred probably won’t break double digits in SC. He’s over. Now it’s down to the three stooges. ~sigh~

My Pastor marches against abortion. He HATES it!!! BUT, He does not vote SOLELY on that issue.
God bless him and you! However, we lose more souls to abortion every single day then we lost on 9/11. If your house is on fire, is that the time to worry about burglars? Abortion is no mere issue. It is national suicide! 40,000,000-50,000,000 Americans have perished on our watch!

“Hillary will not campaign as a leftist. She will run to Romney’s right”
She’s set the stage, it’s why Obama and Edwards are competitive. The liberal net presence absolutely abhors her as Republican-lite. She’s triangulating herself as a moderate for the general. Clever, but she needs to remember she has to win the nomination first. And then, she has to convince an American public that has her pegged as socialist to the core.
To: MNJohnnie
A John Mc Cain Presidency is one thing you won’t have to worry about.
If John Mc Cain gets the Republican nomination, there will be a Democrat President, either obama or hillary.
