Romney is one hell of a lot better than McCain, Huckabee or Rudy....ask Rush Limbaugh.

The stress of today must have gotten to her!

Are you referring to Jeri who is looking down while adjusting her child in the highchair?

Mitt has been my number 2. So it looks like I’ll be voting for Mitt in Florida on Jan 29th. Either Mitt or Rudy must win Florida.

By doing that, you guarantee defeat in November should either of those liberal Yankees win the nomination.

Listen to Mike. He isn't giving up (darn it). That's what our other candidates need to do. Stay in there and fight.

He's even using this concession speech to campaign.

Fred and Huck are goners. If they can't win in South Carolina they can't win.

McCain still has to show he can win a Republican primary. I don't think he can.

Rudy loses in Florida, he's done too.

Looks to me like it will come down to Romney versus McCain unless Rudy fills the inside straight which I doubt he can.

Given that, I vote for Romney on Super Tuesday.

Such is life in the world of politics.

It’s looking pretty clear that Romney gets most of Thompson’s supporters when he leaves. McCain will have talks with him about that. The result? A lot of Thompson donors are going to be flushing their money down a McCain tactical toilet.

I somewhat disagree. McNuts is the one who wants to treat POW's with kid gloves and give them rights of U.S. citizens. He wants to close GITMO and do what with the prisoners? Bring 'em here? His military background might be cause to support him, but his mamby-pamby attitude toward prisoners hurts him.

Add to that open borders and amnesty and tell me this guy is so great on the War on Terror. Send our kids to Iraq and then let the terrorists walk across the border. I don't vote for McCain. He is not a Republican.

Speaking of debates, when will the next debate be? I hope Florida will hold one before their vote.

I think that Thompson got such a good response from his last debate, that he will be a brawler in any debates he gets to participate in from here on out.

OH... MY... GOD.

Huckabees speech is starting to sound like a “two Americas” speech!

Hey - your republican party is changing before your very eyes. We are watching the devolution of the republican party as we have known it. The RNC will get no more money from me - because they have allowed the real conservatives to get squelched, second guessed and demonized as being ‘mean’ and ‘out of step.’ The Kennedy’s, Reid’s, Pelosi’s and yes, Clintons are so happy tonight. Bigger government - and more conversations with our enemies - here we come.

McCain would have been beaten if Thompson hadn’t been running.

I strongly suspect McCain would have been beaten if Huckabee had not been running. Then again, if Romney had not been in the race, would McCain have won?

Don’t blame it on them there were the independent and there are those who are Evangelicals who belong to WCC they mostly to the left anyways, but they are not to be confused with the conservative Evangelicals.

“If McCain’s pollsters believe Thompson dropping out will send his people to Romney, he will be instructing Thompson to stay in, as part of the price of VP, if McCain wins the nomination. Then when (if) McCain does, he’ll pick someone to bring him some Electoral Votes and backstab Thompson.”

I do not believe that Thompson will drop out, and will go on to Florida. There is a debate here on the 24th. If Fred were to drop out he would not endorse McCain and he would not accept any VP position with anyone. FO FRED ON TO FLORIDA!

Strange how almost no one cares for Huckabee, but the guy keeps on plugging on...how does that happen?
